Lord thank for the occasion to make peace.
I just wanted to thank you for your message. It was absolutely sent by the Holy Spirit. I have been struggling with forgiveness, but was seeing it as depression. I didn't see the Spirit of unforgiveness was actually bitterness. I'm on my face before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ asking for His forgiveness, and help in moving forward in a new Spirit of love.

I love these series even though they were done 6 years ago! They are still full of knowledge and guidance and a reminder of what God's Word says about Forgiveness and loving others for our healing. Thank you for this message, it speaks to my heart and I'm doing my best to forgive a lot of things and I struggle with understanding what the right thing is that I have to do. I am afraid I'm not seeing myself correctly possibly becuz I feel like I've done a ton of forgiving but I have not been forgiven by any of the people I love. Its seems like I am just stumbling in that and I fail myself and them too and especially God in the way my family and others have treated me, seems like the scales they have for me are MUCH DIFFERENT and in that I AM LOST AND I am absolutely sad and anxious and afraid OF EVERYTHING AND I'M LOSING THIS FIGHT. I study and read the bible and everything else I pray and I know that God has it all in his hands and he loves me unconditionally but my human heart is so broken in this situation. Please pray for me to undersrand if it's me and the way they are treating me is my fault so I can fix it, I know there are many things that I am working on in my life I just can't do the good in my heart to people who don't want it.

I have a brother that hate me for no reason all I been is nice to him
Forgive him anyway. It's for you not him. Vengeance isn't yours. It's his.
How do you forgive when they do the same hurt over and over?
You forgive 70 times seven, every single day all day long. Meaning continuously. Its also a process when deep hurts.

What if somebody has repeatedly abused you verbally? Is it okay to distance yourself from them to protect your physical and emotional health if it has been impossible to have any type of mature and healing conversation?

I dont believe that God wants us to have continuous contact with people who mistreat us. I can forgive a person that used, mistreated, undermined, or abused me, but Iwill not have contact with that type of person, and I dont think God wants me to either.

Can someone spiritual give me some advice? My sister -in-law stole some things from me , I also sold her something and just paid me part of it. I feel grudges when I see her and I don'd want to see her. I forgave her but I don't want to see her nor deal with her any longer.
