After actually watching. tavarish (or whatever it is) seems like a cool guy. im going to check out his channel
dhobbs16 his Mercedes Build and a few of his Aston Martin videos are pretty good. He needs to buy a bigger shirt though, or lose some weight to fit in said shirt.
Well, I agree. Not so much with the shirt thing. If he is comfortable and his fans appreciate him, he is doing the right thing.

You put so much work into the g35 while he did what every 16 year old ricer does with his first car. Cut the springs, delete the exhaust piping, and put on a cold air intake.

I think the budget build turned out well. Wish you had a couple more challenges with Tavarish but hoping to see you two do this again sometime down the road. I'm heading over to subscribe to his channel now.
Regardless of the out come the G35 is the cooler car.

I think the scoring for cost and resale should be +/- 1 point for each dollar below/above budget and +/- 1 point for each dollar of profit. Kind of a Top Gear style of scoring.

When I sold my last car I put it on craigslist and ebay. I put it on ebay so that the amount of people that see the ad wouldn't be limited to the people in my city. Turns out the person that bought my car was ~400 miles away and found it on ebay. It worked out for me

Love the channel but can't watch a lot due to crappy internet where I am stationed.. I am an IT guy and love wrench turning so a lot about what you do interests me. I am deployed in Afghanistan right now and recently bought my son an 08 G35 which right away had problems but we are not deterred at all. He started having hard start issues and had to get on the throttle at startup. We had our local Nissan dealer check the car out since I am not home and they said it showed P0506 and the throttle bodies needed replacing. Well the car has 99k miles and having owned an 05 G and an 03 Altima both with VQ35 engines I knew that the TB's were likely dirty as hell.
Since removing the MAF and TB's is a pretty pedestrian task on these cars I gave my son steps and tips on what to do and judging from the pics the TB's definitely needed some love. Upon reassembly the car started but it did not idle right and threw the CEL. He was able to drive ti to AutoZone and they pulled the Code P2101 which I believe is the passenger TB TPS code. The P0506 code has not returned according to the AZ scantool.
I am going to have him double check all the connections and MAF orientation as I recently watched your E60 video where ya flipped it or missed the screw. I know you worked on this G and was wondering if you had any words of wisdom.

You guys should have a CarMax appraisal challenge, maybe post the results on some sort of online blog, maybe autotrader?
Do a ricer challenge, where you run into an autozone or similar storee and buy the worst "mods" you can with a budget of $500.
