Chris Brown Calls Beyonce The GOAT, Talks Still Getting Career No's, & Details New 'Breezy' Album

Highly regarded by many as this generation’s Michael Jackson, Chris Brown has without a doubt joined the ranks of many legends, like MJ, but for the “Iffy” singer, he personally admits that he could not do it better than the entertainer who has inspired what he does today, but there is also no one that is doing it like CB.
With an exclusive and personal invite to pull up to his crib, the L.A. Leakers Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk sat with Brown to discuss everything about his forthcoming album ‘Breezy,’ fatherhood, what he’s learned along the way in his career, and some of his proudest moments.
Brown has been in the game for more than 15 years, and believe it or not, the super performer still hears “no” for ideas and projects that he wants to be a part of. Surprisingly, Brown admits that he feels overwhelmed by the number of opportunities that he doesn’t get to pursue because no one will support them or believe he can do it. As this has been a learning and growing process for Chris, he also tells the Leakers that he used to delete comments off of his social media account for nearly two years. A lot of Chris’ accomplishments can’t be looked over and for him to continue to run into obstacles at this stage in the game, really is an inspiration for those who are coming up because Chris has proved that everything is about timing.
Reflecting on some of his career moment highs and great memories, Chris talks about his experience opening up for Beyonce back in 2007. While naming her as the GOAT, the singer shares everything he learned from watching Bey perform, including stage production and intricate details.
Chris Brown goes on to discuss how Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne hopped on “Look At Me Now,” answers a few intimate fan questions, names his hip-hop Mount Rushmore, and much more.

‘sleep at night’ has to be one of the best vocally produced songs that chris has made. like that songs speaks to me on so many levels and i loveee to hear his vocals shine thru. i love when i get to hear this man’s raw vocal abilities. truly amazing and sonically pleasing.

As the biggest Michael Jackson fan who grew up in Chris Brown's generation (i'm 26) I don't think there is any artist who respects or shows MJ's influence in their music like Chris Brown does in today's world -except Beyonce. Thank you for always showing respect and homage to The King.

I LOVE this man! Chris is so down to earth, humble, mature, happy, grounded, aware, intelligent, creative, on the ball, fine as hell yet still a « kid » like he says, goofy, funny, shy, anxious, cute, etc. I am SO tired of people seeing him in just one negative way and not giving him the flowers, respect, status he deserves! This man is on a whole other level, he is a legend and breaks so many records yet no one notices it or talks about it. He is one of the very few extremely talented artists, performers, musicians ever! I can’t begin to say how thankful I am of getting to live at the same time as him and witness his presence! I saw him on tour in 2019; greatest exprience of my life and certainly not the last! I wish i could just get the chance to meet& chill with him low key and chat, he seems so genuine and cool! I love how Chris praises Michael Jackson and says he isn't better than him. It just shows how humble he is and it shows how much of a student he still is to the game despite his experience throughout the years. Chris is also right about performing arts today. Most artist today will go on stage and let their song play while they yell over it and pace around. We don't really have artist who are up there really giving blood sweat and tears to the stage with actual live vocals and giving that energy on stage.
