- Here is a collection of Goals that I have captured over the last couple of years playing Retro PES. The majority of the goals were scored by me but there are a few in here that the COM scored against me, haha. The capture quality will vary due the age of some of these clips and the hardware I was using at the time of capture.

Nowadays, all goal compilations of modern titles (FIFA, PES) are about fake insane dribbling and script kicks. The retro games of PES provided something special. Every kick you take is different; there isn't consistency in your shots, and you cannot expect the outcome, like in real life. The PES series was thrilling and immersive because every goal was pure satisfaction.
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment 😊. These old game certainly do make us see the worst in the modern games. The old games feel a lot more calculated despite being simpler games.
That's the beauty of Japanese gaming mechanics, the physics are very precise and tactical. I wish they would go back to this formula. Fifa 23 looks and plays well but you'll never score goals like in the old pro evo games.
Some top class goals in there, you make some of these look truly effortless.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can bring the same feeling of joy and satisfaction these games used to bring, all nowadays soccer games are pure crap compared to this.

I've played PES matches that I've lost 4-0, but still thoroughly enjoyed it. Conversely, I've played FIFA matches that I've WON 4-0, but hated every second of the experience. Says it all...
Ordaz was too much of a beast for the start of the career.
I remember him with joy since it was the start of a great journey everytime.
I scored some great goals with him.
This Ordaz goal was so unexpected! So much power on the volley!
I have a WE10 Master League going at the moment. Ordaz is becoming quite good after 4 seasons.
How come this hasn't popped up in my recommended? Great video, loved the fact there are PSX goals in it, including Winning Eleven 3.

Nice montage, and you're so good! I can play PES3 until 6 just fine but PES on 7th Gen console feels weird for me (aka weird physics) to play due to how easy PES was on PS2/Xbox era.
Thank you 🙏 although the COM scored some of these goals against me 😬. Yes the PS2 era games are perfect. It took a while to transition to the 7th Gen.

What PES is the Eto'o byciclekick goal? PES6 PS3?
It’s is Winning Eleven 9 Liveware Evolution. It’s is a Korean version of PES 5. Many consider this one to be the best PS2 PES game.

Yes there can be differences between WE & PES, depending on the versions that are compared. Often the WE & PES games have different release dates so they can have subtle gameplay performance changes. I guess you could say like a modern day patch update. I tend to find that the last version release is usually an Asian version (Japanese or Korean) and that version tends to be the better game, IMO.
But they are all great games 🙂

You cant score goals like this anymore in PES :( I hate the way they have linked difficulty into the shooting and goal keeper mechanics. If you play on 3rd or 4th tier difficulty you can score great goals but if you want a challenge on Superstar the great goals disappear.
Is that so?? I can’t say I’ve felt that. But this will be on my mind now the next time I’m on the current game.

@@PESDNAShales There is much more shooting trajectories on low levels than the high levels. Pretty sure this wasnt the case in Pes 1 to 6.
How good was Michael Owen on Pes before his injuries caught up with him. PES 4 he was disgusting 😝😝😝
Yeah he was brilliant! I remember I would over-use him whilst playing the PES 3 & 4 demos.

It isn’t really a patch. It is just an option file for WE8LE for the 01/02 season.
