  • Team USA Makes Stunning Announcement: Regrets Over Caitlin Clark Revealed!
    And she will be, as the USA team has finally admitted they regret snubbing #Caitlinclark. I mean, who would have thought that she would not make the cut in the first place? It's not like we've been begging Team #USA not to mess up this badly. Whether you're new to women's basketball or have been a fan for a while, we've all been saying they shouldn't make this terrible mistake. And now, here they are, not only making the mistake but also paying for it and apologizing for it.
    The Indiana coach says Clark told her, "They awakened a monster." Sports columnist and a best-selling author. Christine Brennan has been following this story for weeks. In her USA column, she wrote, "I've seen some bad team and athlete selection decisions in the 40 years I've covered the #Olympics, but this is the worst by far. Then again, we probably shouldn't be surprised."

    Apparently the selection committee are not aware of their own criteria. Use the criteria to evaluate pure statistics and you will see that Caitlin and Arike both exceed the requirements by a large margin. Several of the selected players fall well below the criteria. This was a political and WNBA cultural decision and everyone knows it. Terrible job by the coach and the committee.

      You'd think this favoritism would stop. Maybe Tarausi's performance (0 pts, 0 assts, 0 rebs versus Belgium) this year will make everyone understand what has been going on to the detriment of the current USA teams and it will stop for the future. Don't they realize how stupid they look and how stupid they make the U.S. look.

    Based on those eleven factors, Caitlin Clark should have been a shoe in. Not even arguable. Add to that the fact that she has long been recognized as a generational talent and broke all NCAA scoring records...and all of their justifications and equivocations and fabrications just fall flat. It's obvious bullshit to try to cover their ass for making a bad call and a piss poor decision. At this point everyone would just appreciate an acknowledgement of the mistake and a little mea culpa. By the way --- it's not too late to fly her over for the balance of the Olympics. Send Arike Ogunbowale as well, because you screwed that up too.

  • @user-bj3ec1ox5d

      B.S. Caitlin Clark is having trouble hitting 40.5% of her shots!!!!! ...and she is the leading scorer in the NCAA???? She isn't shooting like it!!!!!

    • @hex_metal_barbie4
      @hex_metal_barbie4 Před měsícem +2

      @dwayneyambra1865 wow you mean her accuracy rate is like 60% ? 91% freethrow... Is anyone else doing that? AND she's better than most of the entire league? That's what matters here. She is a better player than the ladies , or dudes on the team USA . Hell, when team USA lost to her team , that should have raised flags... Maybe we are not sending our best team. This isnt rocket science. It's team management.
      I miss when professional athletes didn't compete in The Olympics but since it's allowed, the best should compete and represent the USA.
      Clark was on team USA for 2019 nationals. Where they hold a record of 7-0. You see , this girl has been on the international stage too. Your opinion is based on what? I learned every thing I've said inside of 10 min. Do some research.

    Factors/schmactors, Caitlyn is a baller. They could have had her sitting the bench except for 5 minutes a game and she would have been a sensation. Barring injury she will be the greatest WNBA guard ever and maybe EVEN the best WBNA/NBA guard ever.

    That "special mention" of Caitin Clark adds insult to injury. There is nothing that collection of hateful harpies that run the WNBA and the selection committee can do to make up for the purposeful discriminatory ostracization of Caitlin Clark from the USA Olympic basketball team. Caitlin, stay strong and positive, all those people are beneath you.

    That’s what happens when you have a coach like Reeves. She is more interested in proving that she is in charge and has zero business prowess! This coach, if she made the decision alone, set back the league because the attraction that they would have been given at the Olympics is gone and lost forever. This coach now needs to be gone and lost. There is no place for individuals in any sport or business and still win! Pathetic mistake! There should be tons of people actually saying this out loud!

    It is clear that the mandate for providing the US Olympic womens team is not merit based or reflective of the values of the US. Caitlin Clark is the only reason for renewed interest in women's basketball. Her Performance, what she brings out in teammates and her attitude for uplifting the sport. If she is not one of the 12 best players in US, what area needs improvement? Diana T. v Germany 0 assists, 0 rebounds and 0 points. The US should be embarrassed as the cause of moral based competitive womens sports has been set back 50 yrs. But then following the disgusting opening ceremony I saw this olympics had nothing to offer me and I was pleased to see sponsors and fans pull out leaving the corruption to full view.

WNBA was surfing around at 500k for the last 15 years.. so now they have 18 Million viewers that see through their political crap and they will get their asses handed too them.

    Age, stage of career in decline, none of this seemed relevant. GET A REAL COACH and let HER or HIM decide who goes after tryouts and more. LOOK AT THE MEN, who face3 an ever-increasing increase in international talent. When the two or three best new players (or more) in the NBA are NOT USA-sourced should tell you more. There were only a couple of real players that past men’s coaches could not have cut. To send women over the age of 33 or 34 and slowing down, even injured…CRAZY!

Angel Reese's name should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Caitlin Clark's. Clark has long javeraity in the game of women basketball. Reese's attitude needs adjustment. Her skills are not at the level of Caitlin Clark's. Reese's needs to evaluate what and who she is. 😢
