- I am a retired RCMP Officer living in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend my time enjoying nature and feeding my furry friends, the raccoons. I also feed the deer in the winter months and many varieties of birds. I have two rescue cats named Connor and Charlotte.

Wow, Jin and Angie! You have survived the blizzard. That is a lot of snow! Glad ya'll making it through. I miss the Raccoons. I had 8 and now one comes every now and then. My deer are here eating out of bird feeders and birdbath every evening. Cool stuff you have to help with the snow. Take care!

FYI, we in Hendersonville, NC have made international news re. Charlotte the pregnant sting ray, due to parthenogenesis-no mate. Love is “blind” 😂😂

Coyotes need food, all animals have a purpose on Earth. All animals deserve love and respect thank you for helping the animals. I'm in New Hampshire and my raccoons have already been around I just fed six of them tonight, all our snow has gone away so now they're all coming out from being away for the winter. The wind chill is what gets you. Still have to walk the dog 3x a day! You got so much more snow than down her in Digby!

The only folks that had luck with snow blowers here had a Honda machine on caterpillar tracks instead of wheels, big bucks though.
