There is obviously more whiteheads/infection and blood in those pimples, but more times than not, unless you are blind, you do not even attempt to press the remainder of blood and puss from those pockets. You have not done a good job at all.

If they used 2 cotton swabs they would fit in the ear better than fingers do. They can apply more pressure in tight spaces like in ears.
