There are three territories along with the ten provinces. They are called territories because they do not enjoy the same authoritative and legislative powers that the provinces enjoy; they are instead directly governed by the federal government in Ottawa. And there's your lesson in Canadian Geography 101. ;)

I didn't hear her say anything about that. She said that she went to 7 provinces, and has yet to visit the territories and the 3 "New" provinces.
