Most of the Satisfactory community things folks post are architectural wonders and they don't focus on showing om how they manage to balance and design the belts and pipes.. so why not hide under the carpet/foundations everything in a clipping mess lol

"People who build spaghetti must have great memory" as someone who builds spaghetti I don't have good memory I'm just too lazy to build well organised systems I just try to pack as much as I can in as small a space as possible weaving belts through each other and then taking 10 mins to find what I'm looking for and its probably the same for most spaghetti builders
Yeah. And my thought of it's appearance too is "Chaotic beauty." effectively. Where it's a mess, but eventually, it makes sense to where it actually is kinda rather beautiful in a weird way.
The second one looks very much like my own first world. It starts very organized and then as the game progresses you need more complex things and don't want to rebuild the old parts because the game doesn't support you in refactoring. No easy copy/paste or move. So you build bigger with your gained knowledge in the new Locations, but the start base stays ;) For me it's not fun to do it again from scratch if I solved some module once. This is why I am so impressed by factorio: perfection in UI and gamedesign. There you don't have to do the basic stuff manually again.
GGGanderson’s world is definitely my favorite out of the worlds shown. I really appreciate how he’s building elevated tracks like I am in my world. I’m nowhere near as skilled as him regarding building amazing and detailed factory buildings though.

perhase down sizing just so its to a point of it being to what u know u can commit to but still have the concept of the project still at hand and see how the project feels because it makes no sence to over plan a hugmongus factory that ur relly gonna be able to do then a factory you can graduly add on a mediem to small one that you know u coudl finsh for me the trick is aiming low enough that id want and can do more but if cant continue onwards thats ok becase of compleation a previous goal and next thing ya know ya went down a wrabbit hole and finshed somthing amazing
My favorite non standard alternate recipes (not like turbo fuel or cast screws) has gotta be the rotor alternate with steel pipes and wire overclock the extractors and send half the pipes and wire to make rotors, the other half make stators and combine for a super quick and dirty motor set up as you get into oil extraction and bother are a 1-1 ratio making everything super easy I think its really an under-rated recipe
Lighthawks' stunningly tidy base really reminds me of the block diagrams you'd see of the workings of a CPU or GPU, especially from above. It's beautiful!
This is a magic of that game. Every factory created by different person (or team) has its unique features that no one other have. Satisfactory is like Minecraft, but for adults where imagination goes beyond the usual understanding.

It's a lot of assuming that the thing does what you think you built it to do 800hrs ago, clicking through menus to double check that it does IN FACT do the thing that you thought it does, and then fixing everything when the thing doesn't do what you thought it did. TLDR : "I wonder what this button does." *presses button* "Oh. When did I automate steel pipes?"

I know my builds are humble...ok... messy. But seeing builds like you were looking at today inspires. Though that Nuke power plant out of pipes, "padded room for 1 please".
I use trains in mine but I tend to make more traditional rail designs based off the real world like actual rail yards, and industrial sidings and this is mainly due to the fact that I manually control the train.
That first factory was gorgeous. Kudos to you, Akryzazel! Also kudos to GGGanderson for making a world where everything is actually properly supported, instead of just building factories on floating platforms. I don't understand why some people put so much effort into making their factories look amazing, and then it's all sitting on miles of floating platforms... 🤔
I found out about this game through your channel.about 6 months ago, only bought it over the Christmas break. I got about 150hrs down, and I can't get enough. I love watching your videos on it also. Great game. Can't wait to get my first choo
ahhhhhhhh, I haven't played in like 6 months, you can put the conveyor lifts through ceilings and floors now, das nice. This is what stopped me from ever going ham on a build, I didn't like the way you had to build conveyors just to get around the floors and ceiling, this one feature means a lot to me. I'm like the guy with the excel sheet base, that's my jam. Hands down though, that last world was the most amazing, creating massive replicas of the buildings as the housing for those factories is just beautiful.
This video makes me think of the meme of "Don't touch my trash." Also. if you thought that 2nd base was bad you have not seen the world i have not spent the most time on LMAO!
You should have a "fix my chaos" series... Offer to "fix", some of the worst spaghetti, from fans maps. (Ones that are actually legitimate issues, not made just to mess with you.) Limit yourself to a singular, reasonable, segment. No glitter and glamor, just some basic "organized fixing".
I made a new world in update 5, and it's a spaghetti mess, especially the aluminium stuff.. I made the mistake of feeding the output water back into the same system... it kept jamming up, so then I just rerouted the output water into pure copper ingot and steamed copper sheets production line (with the default recipes running in parallel so even if water is low, it will never run dry on copper products.
There's a mod that allows you to put photos or 3d models into it and then builds the image or 3d model in Satisfactory using pipes. Pretty sure the last one did that.

Random idea. You should theme your next world around your Cities Skylines playthrough, each area taking inspiration from one of the zones in that.
The first world was amazing. I want to play now and do something like that myself. Great job. Oh and that last powerplant took my breath away.
