I've learned to travel very lite and this looks good for my needs.
We tend to pack more than we need with the larger packs, and as a result, you'll feel the that mistake a few miles on your trek.

Great review. I appreciate the effort you put into it. Just bought one. I like that this doesn't look "tactical". It doesn't scream, "Hey, this guy is probably carrying a weapon we can try to steal." I think it's going to be perfect for my get home bag. And if someone forgets to bring their backpack for a day hike, it can be pressed into service for that as well.
I have a love hate relationship with Maxpedition. I love my prepared citizen Deluxe and other Maxpedition items but when you buy one you need to buy more LOL

Biggest problem with Maxpedition is they never wear out so you never "need" a new one.

Love maxpedition but that pack doesn’t look very useful. Got my son the lithvore as his EDC pack for school.
Overpriced IMO. I prefer a Northface to this.
"cry once, buy once" the war cry of the over spender. I really hate that term. I have excellent packs that aren't overpriced. Unless you're buying the cheapest chinese packs, your pack is going to last you a life time.
