That's what I'm talking about right there!! You know they're real jazz players because of the way they use rests to get your attention. It's sparse yet adequate when necessary, and then it blows your ears off at the crescendo...Nice!

And to embellish on what @modelcitizen1977 said: Folks just don't realize the excellence of a musician who can nail those difficult runs, without any extra trash thrown in. I've been playing guitar for 37 years and I know that it takes serious work and dedication to get to that level. This old punk rocker is impressed!!

Ha ha I have become yet another person who is currently on an extended Molly Miller Trio jag. I can’t get enough of the funky yet restrained, technically adept yet unpretentious yet entertaining enjoyable playing. It is addictive in the best way possible. I am currently working through Molly’s CAGED I pathway over on Pick Up Music but hearing her play in her own world is so awesome let alone inspiring.

Great reworking. Molly, the guitar at 1:38 .... bravo for the most natural sinewy 6th style riff I've heard for years - its glorious! JP, for a predominently down stroke player (at least on this), your upstrokes positively swing! And Beth, always an absolute joy to listen to, ever since I heard you playing Pin It Down.
Roger Miller would be smiling as he pushed broom for an 8x12 room to this fun version of his song

Great instrumental of this classic tune. Molly, I love your respect for the melody....with some tasty blues / pentatonic licks thrown in with lots of feeling. That's where it's at. Nice job by the bassist and drummer too to give you a solid and flowing foundation to work off of.
