- Practical Nursing student Alex Taccone decided to enrol in Centennial College’s Practical Nursing program because of its high student success rate, representing a better opportunity to begin a career in the nursing field. In this video, he talks about how the Practical Nursing program prepared him for working in a field placement where he has the opportunity to apply his nursing skills and knowledge in a clinical setting helping real patients. He also talks about feeling connected with his peers and teachers, as they learn and work together in a professional environment.

Hi, Amrit. I'd recommend asking your program coordinator. Certainly, if you're finished in time, you can jump right into the other program, but there may be other factors you need to complete, first.

@@arungill9443 The Practical Nursing classes that started this September were Hybrid programs, meaning the lecture parts were online, but the hands-on lab parts were in person. While we haven't decided how September 2022 will be delivered, if things are the same as they are now, you can assume it will be handled the same way at that point.
Is it mandatory to study mathematics with practical nursing course?

And I did all my academics in science stream with Physics chemistry and biology and didn’t have the mathematics in my country.

If you do practical nursing FLEX you take on 4 subjects per semester instead of 6. But in-exchange for school during the summer. Full time is 6 subjects per semester- summers off. It depends how well you are with material for you to have a a job, My friend did FULL TIME and she did not work. Another friend did Fulltime and switched to FLEX to work ( she has a son.) I know others who are FULL TIME AND WORK TWO JOBS. so its up to the individual.
