Meat Grinder - A Rhythm Heaven Megamix Custom Game Mod

After a few months of work, Meat Grinder is finally here! The third original custom game modded into Megamix, it was a really fun process! The game's a combination of Cue-Based and Call-and-Response gameplay, where I attempt to mesh the two styles of game.

I love how we've gone from only having Rhythm Soumen to having multiple fan-made Rhythm Heaven games in just a matter of months! I'm so happy that this community is growing!
Also, love how the button presses in the museum are on-beat.

Pretty cool game overall , my only problem is the meat cue is sometimes is really hard to hear cuz of the boss's cue .
Also if the meat could get accumulate like crop stomp does , that would be so cool

also the designs are cute
only the sfx are a little bland but other than that its a very well done custom game

I like the idea! Really nice idea to mix call and response with cue!
That being said
I get the feeling that A *meat grinder run by a pig* is a bit too dark for Rhythm Heaven. Maybe a Shaved Ice Factory?

The meat is canonically beef. Initially, the last cue would’ve been a ball of bacon, and Boss would’ve performed the same troubled animation as he does when you miss, but I did end up cutting that for tonal issues.

@@Seanski2 Yeah this still fits in the "This sounds more like a Creepypasta than a normal Rhythm Heaven game" but to be honest, that's kind of the fun part of modding, not having to worry about fitting the tone.

The Boss' "render" is just a high quality version of an in-game sprite, but I could drop it in there anyways.

I really hate the fact that you can have a normal cue sound on top of the mallet hitting another meat piece at the same time, and on top of that, the cue of the pig guy

Meat Grinder is currently set for Heaven Studio’s Honeybee Release (Release 2). For reference, we intend to have most of the content for Release 1 done by April. The assets for Meat Grinder are already done; it’s just a matter of finding a programmer and animator for it.
