    Everybody is different but I got relief by eating at least 5 prunes daily. I also eat oatmeal which may also help. Prunes are sometimes called dried plums.

      Prunes definitely help! Hydration, fruits and veggies are all helpful!

    My long-term constipation was severe, including one trip to hospital. I soon learned that by taking 4g daily of thiamine hcl that within one week my bowel movement days became normal with normal consistency
