How to avoid waisting money with coupons:
1. Don't buy something you don't need just because you have a coupon for it.
2. Do a price comparison with store brands. Store brands may still be cheaper than the coupon item.
3. Don't buy a product that you currently have enough of. So see how much of a product you have before going to the store.

Random ish. My mother in law use to coupon HARD lol. She would buy bulk coupons . Cheaper than getting one sleeve from the paper. Shipped right to the house.
Best I seen her do (because she would take me a lot lol) was $400 completely free. They owed her $60 in gas gift cards and $10 cash back. Which she donated to the stores charity they ask you about at the register

Wow, such an informative video! You are a pro! I unfortunately had to learn the hard way to understand what I was doing wrong with couponing. The biggest one is the temptation to just by unnecessary stuff. You are so right, you are not saving money if you are shopping all the time lol. That’s why it’s important to create that needs list so you can shop sales and use coupons on the things you NEED. Honestly, this is why I stopped buying the newspaper inserts. Having those newspaper inserts collecting dust in your house makes you want to use them even if you don’t need that product. The digital coupons from stores are not only easier to use but they are also better for the planet and FREE to use for anyone that makes an account with the store.

Thank you for the tips! If you buy a June cup/menstrual cup you will eliminate the need for almost all pads/tampons. It is more comfortable than a tampon, easy to clean, can be used with exercise, portable, can stay for up to 12 hrs-literally changed my life.
The cups scare me a little so I don’t think they are for me but thanks for sharing

Great video. Its detailed but not too long! What I found from this video is couponing is not for me lol. Requires so many steps and so involved and it seems like a trap created by marketing teams to keep you in an endless buying cycle. I may sound lazy but I think with pricings going up and not having time to do couponing I am going to actually lean towards less consumption from stores and increase the amount of food I need to remove as much reliance on buying things as possible.

Are there benefits to mothly subscriptions for stockpiling with place like grove?
No because stockpiling is buying things at the lowest price possible before you need them and the subscription is refilling your month needs as you need them. So if you like those products then the subscription benefits you. I like to get my stuff cheaper so it wouldn’t benefit me.

I go to shop rite or giants, most people shop for food it's extremely expensive today. finding COUPONS IS A THING OF THE PAST UNFORTUNATELY.
I wouldn’t agree it’s a thing of the past, the way in which we use coupons is very different than 10-15 years ago. You can still save money it’s just more strategic now
What if the lists overlap? I have a 8 person household, so we’re getting groceries almost every day. Due to our predicament my mother lets me buy groceries, and it always seems like at the end of the month or near the end of the paycheck we’re running on fumes. Most of the items we need weekly (like the eggs and bread you mentioned) we also don’t want to run out of (because typically a loaf of bread might last 1-3 days and then when it’s out there’s no option for lunch or so) so I was wondering if there was like a special rule for that? Also, typically we only do deliveries/ curb side pickups.
It’s ok for the lists to overlap but know in how much you need just get enough for the week so you don’t have to go everyday. Meal
Plan for meals and snacks so you know what you are eating so you know what you need. If 1 loaf last 3 days you need 3-4 for the week. They stretch meals that use rice or beans so they can feed more people. The key here is to plan for the week and shop for that. Delivery is much more expensive with DoorDash and instacart so try curbside as much as possible. If you have aldis try there as most of their prices are cheaper

This was very informative ! When you were on number 7 the deal breakdown. The sheet that you put up listing the item, price, coupon, reward, rebate, and final price. You listed something called,” Store OPP” what does that mean ?
Store out of pocket meaning how much you pay at the register to walk out the store with the items

can you explain what a stock price is? I hear couponers say that they won't pay above a certain price for certain products. But is that before or after the rewards? Because then wouldn't it be their oop price ? I am a little confusion lol
Yes the stock up price is the price after all rewards like toothpaste was typically free now the most I’ll pay after rewards is like $.50 a tube

I am cluesless on digital coupons.
I tried to use a unexpired manufactured paper coupon at Walgreens. It wouldn't go through. To make a long story short I spoke to a manager she offered me a reward instead. I've never heard of that before. I didn't want a reward because I don't shop there often. Have you ever heard of that before?? Thank you for your response.
