LEGO Technic RC 2wd Buggy with BuWizz and x2 RC Motors

- This is a LEGO Technic Buggy base powered by a BuWizz unit, connected to a gamepad through the cellphone using the app "brick controller 2".
It has a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain powered by x2 RC lego Buggy motors, one for each wheel.

It has gums suspensions and the front one has a positive caster for better steering and suspension.
The steering mechanism is powered by a lego fake servo that costs 15 euros and it is better than the original.

Very nice and simple design!
I wouldn't recommend a rubber band suspension system. Especially for this lego creation, it has the ability to bump into the floor just because of the rubber bands' softness. According to me, it should have a harder suspension system. Yeah, it looks cooler now but it bumps into the floor. I don't know if you have or not but, you may use the softest shock absorber of LEGO. :) very nice and functional creation. Well done!

One question: Does this servo support proportional steering or is only 100% left/right possible?
it has proportional but its jerky so 100% is better
every rc lego creation has this problem

perfect moc. especially i like the positive caster steering. i ve a question: normally 1 buwizz unit can carry only 1 buggy motors load related with it's high amper. you used 1 buwizz for 2 buggy motors . don't they trigger the buwizz and stall ?
@@adriablancafort in my all try's in the high mode if 2 buggy motors are connected to buwizz 2.0 they triger buwizz.

Good to see those chinese motors work that well! I was thinking about buying 2 of them. And use some hobby grade rc component for good range and controller

are they any good? some revieuws say a bit les rpm and torque but for the price i can live with that for sure;)

Doesn't the overcurrent protection in buwizz cut off the energy when stressing 2 rc motors?
@@adriablancafort ı have the same question in my mind. i have buwizz 2.0 and when i try with 2 buggy motors (connected to seperate ports) in the fast and ludicrious mode it goes to protection mode ?

Not a bad chassis! Simple and effective! Maybe build it with real buggy motors for a bit more torque!
There expensive now, i bought 2 brand new ones for ~$50 each about 3 years ago and now there super rare and hard to find new for a reasonable price so he did what was best for pricing

This damn engine is most likely made by Lepin. Well, it's so fun LOL.
Unfortunately Lego stopped making buggy engines so the branded ones are really hard to get.

@@fishbrix3809 You have eyes. This model is a skeleton so you see every part. Watch the video and rebuild it in a lego builder or write down all parts you see. Then get them and built it yourself.
This is pretty similar to how the first lego manuals worked.
