What motor would most of these guys be Using ? I used to race 1/10 in 94 I had a 10double in a Kyosho Lazer zxr 2 It was fast , I recently bought a Tamiya for some fun but I can’t get no speed out of it , it’s running a 15t Firebolt Hpi motor . I want more speed
Miguel Silva Argh cool , Do they work similar to a Brushed Motor in that The Lower wind = Lower Torque ? I’m currently having a Trade off With a 15t brush motor and a High pinion and an 11t Brushed And a Lower pinion as far as I can see they both similar speeds, I noticed when I used the gear on from the 15t motor on the 11t motor it was a Rocket in the street but took to long to accelerate.

I struggling a Trade off between torque vs Power and Higher And Lower gears The Lower turn needs a Smaller Pinion but the higher wind can run a bigger pinion either way they end up Similar speeds .
xrayracer1 in turn one? Someone said that was the same guy LOL I gotta hand it to Ryan..he did better than 2wd. Wondering what was up with Ty? That 2wd prototype has always denied him. I believe it was the Reedy Race the first he ran it..it stunk. Because then the second or so race after that, he was running a b5m. And then of course this race it looked better, but still meh. I was thinking he'd do better in 4wd but maybe not. And the whole debacle with Jorn and his old Durango haha. That put a dark cloud over Serpent for sure. That's why everyone was saying: Serango and Durpent lol
xrayracer1 the 44.3s probably all broke in practice haha. But 4wds are beastly on carpet and astro and with the euro guys mostly running on carpet and astro..they have a ton more experience.

Bruno is a cheater. Doesn't know what stop and go means. He stops for a split second after cutting corners, but goes too soon.
