There’s unfortunately, some scary and horrible lore behind this banger of a song. in 1969, Ronnie Spector, the lead singer of the Ronnettes (a popular band back then) married Phil Spector. Phil was a famous record producer and songwriter, discovering the Beatles, the Ronettes, and many more golden pop stars. Phil was known for his charm, but behind closed doors he was a horrible husband. He essentially held ronnie captive in his mansion. He hid her shoes at night so she couldn’t run away, as well as lining the property with barbed wire fences and guard dogs. The scariest of these precautions, perhaps, was the golden coffin he kept in the basement. He threatened to kill ronnie and bury her in the coffin if she tried to escape. The only time she could leave the mansion was once a month, to go to the store for menstrual care products along with an appointed body guard. Ronnie lived this was for a long time, until one day, seemingly out of the blue, Phil comes home with two twin boys. Ronnie asked him who they were, and Phil replied “Merry Christmas!” hence the title-“christmas kids”. Phil had adopted the two boys without and consent from Ronnie, who became their mother. While Ronnie became a mom, hers was becoming worried. She had lost all contact with her beloved daughter. The details are fuzzy, and I am unsure how it happened, but somehow Ronnie’s mother freed her from her prison. The boys went back to their biological father, and Ronnie and Phil got a divorce in 1978. There’s unfortunately, some scary and horrible lore behind this banger of a song.
in 1969, Ronnie Spector, the lead singer of the Ronnettes (a popular band back then) married Phil Spector. Phil was a famous record producer and songwriter, discovering the Beatles, the Ronettes, and many more golden pop stars. Phil was known for his charm, but behind closed doors he was a horrible husband. He essentially held ronnie captive in his mansion. He hid her shoes at night so she couldn’t run away, as well as lining the property with barbed wire fences and guard dogs. The scariest of these precautions, perhaps, was the golden coffin he kept in the basement. He threatened to kill ronnie and bury her in the coffin if she tried to escape. The only time she could leave the mansion was once a month, to go to the store for menstrual care products along with an appointed body guard. Ronnie lived this was for a long time, until one day, seemingly out of the blue, Phil comes home with two twin boys. Ronnie asked him who they were, and Phil replied “Merry Christmas!” hence the title-“christmas kids”. Phil had adopted the two boys without and consent from Ronnie, who became their mother. While Ronnie became a mom, hers was becoming worried. She had lost all contact with her beloved daughter. The details are fuzzy, and I am unsure how it happened, but somehow Ronnie’s mother freed her from her prison. The boys went back to their biological father, and Ronnie and Phil got a divorce in 1978. Phil forced her to give up a lot of money, and threatened her life with hitmen he had hired. although Ronnie is dead now, the horrors she went through will not be forgotten. Phil went on to murder actress Lana Clarkson in the same mansion in 2003. he was sentenced to only 19 years in prison. Ronnie tragically passed away due to cancer on January 13, 2022. Phil hired 3 black and 3 white hitmen, which he kept anonymously nearby whenever Ronnie was outside of their multi-million dollar mansion. At one point, he phoned her and reminded her that if she made an attempt to flee, she would be *_Shot outside the Flamingo Hotel._*
The "Gold coffin" that Phil often described in morbid detail of burying Ronnie in actually exists; it is unknown what happened to it after he died.
After deliberation about her future, Ronnie _willingly_ (NOT coerced) forefitted all future record earnings and relinquished her rights to custody of Gary and Louis, the actual "christmas kids." Ronnie did not consent to adopting the kids, but effectively left them to fend for themselves during her escape from the prison. She and her Mother meticulously planned the escape over the course of a few weeks, taking into account not to arouse suspicion from _Phil or an appointed "bodyguard" (captor) that was assigned to escort her once a month when she would leave.
christmas twins are living somewhat "normal" lives now and have actively chosen to stay out of the media spotlight, although both have described the family life of their past as "sick, twisted, and dysfunctional." They have been suggested to harbor no ill will against Ronnie for escaping, and never really saw her as their mother.

Basically the whole story pieced together was i found a girlfriend that I thought we are meant to be and i head trouble with stuff mostly work so she help me through this stress then when i introduced my girlfriend to my 3 close friends 2 boys and 1 girl. She had fun with them and had a mini party but next day she left for “work” but never came back for 2 days then boom Realisation smacked me that my live is fading away like wood above a campfire. Then i started to ho through all the possible paths days turned into months and months turned into years, i never saw here for so long that i just went insane so before i jumped off my friend saw me and stopped me, he made me into a normal person again thanks to him (me and him are friends till this day).
