- Hey everyone, I finally got out on a nice sunny day to film the yamaha fz07 mt07 mods walk around. I know a lot of you have been curious what I would do with the bike since I got it and it's pretty much done in my eyes. Great bike and a lot of fun. Thanks for tuning in! =)

Some random dude I met today gave me his 07s keys. I ride a 125 honda from the 90s. He made a dream come true, this bike is perfection.

That’s a beautiful 2nd bike & mods are well thought out & not overdone, I’m actually looking for the exact same bike as a 2nd bike here in Pa for street riding & occasional track days, tough to find one like yours in mint condition that wasn’t abused, stay safe!

I just picked up a 22 and I couldn't be happier. I've owned 2 MT09s and I have had so much more fun on the 07 than either of them. I put an Akrapovic exhaust on it a week ago and it sounds phenomenal. Glad to see you're enjoying it!
I feel that I have an fz09 and freaking love it, BUT I sold my fz07 after I bought it then like 7 months later bought another one 😂 I actually sold that one to potentially buy a newer model and wanted to upgrade the suspension on my 09 since that doubles as my track bike. The 07 platform is just freaking fun. Have owned 2 and maybe looking at getting another one. I love those bikes 🤙
@@do.on2wheels38 I put a Penske shock on my first MT09, and had Ohlins front and rear on the one I just traded in on my new MT07. There is no doubt that the 09 is an awesome machine, but for me the 07 is so much more fun. It's just rowdy enough to be exciting and fun to ride, but at the same time more manageable. I may end up putting Ohlins on it at some point next year.

@@notthatjonathandavis7609 I totally get that, the 07 is such a fun bike. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't miss the 07 that I sold. Absolute blast of a bike, sounds great, so much power on the street. I love my 09 a lot because it also gets a decent amount of track time but am a huge fan of both!
Those TST front blinkers are killer. Ive got rear light, need tail tidy and exhaust and then I’ll get those. Then some new levers and grips I guess.I like the stock mirrors.

Thanks for the list of mods, I will be checking out those levers. T-Rex, shogun, all seem to be quality, Not everyone wants to pay 150$ a piece for a name, I feel companies get arrogant and know ppl will pay for bragging rights. And that part is considered a heel guard I think. Stay safe.
Absolutely agree. The Ride It levers have been great on my last 4 bikes, they’ve been on my gsxr750 since about 2016

Looks pretty good. I'd do the engine case covers, sort out the front suspension and remove the passenger footpegs (but you need them for wheelies I guess :D).
Haha yes absolutely, although sit downs are smooth on this bike.
Looking good! I have yet to get to try out one of the mt07/mt09s but looks like so much fun useable power. Do you plan on taking this to the mountains this year? I bet it would be fun especially on those scenic days.
That's the plan! I'd love to bring it with us on this years trip, we skipped the mountains in 2022 because we had a lot going on but definitely plan on going this year.
@@SALTxTHExWOUND I feel that. We did not make our spt trip this time so I have not been since May. I am counting down the days haha. There are a lot of fast people there on twins for sure. I road my brothers cbr500r through the dragon a couple of times last year and that was a good time.

Idk though, my current Daytona 675 is my first bike and every single bike I've ridden afterwards just feels..... off. Idk if it's the triple cylinder engine or something else.
Bike is really appealing though, hard choice.
I’ve ridden a couple 675’s and they are definitely unique. I think the biggest thing you’d notice on an MT is how much more comfortable they are. The 675 was one of the most uncomfortable bikes I’ve ridden aside from an MVagusta F3 that was like sitting on a brick 😂

I just need a comfortable naked bike with decent power man. That way I won't get scared when my wife rides it or bored when I do. Ride safe 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Do you intend to change the sprockets sizes so you get more acceleration? I hope you understand my question 😂
Haha no I don’t think I will honestly, it accelerates pretty good right now just as it is and still does wheelies in 3rd gear with ease
Change the suspension front and rear will completely change the bike I did it and its so stable now round corners
Yeah I’m definitely going to change the front fork oil and do the Dave moss tune on it here soon 👍🏻
