I want to recommend one thing. Read Asimov's Robot novels before Foundation Trilogy. They are amazingly written mystery stories and introduce the Foundation universe in a much better way plus the last book ends at a cliffhanger which is solved only later in the Foundation series.

I find this line about a thought resonating with me and changing the course of life so fascinating.
I would also recommend books written by Arthur Clarke and Philip Dick. Clarke's Childhood's end and Rendezvous with Rama were really captivating. Likewise books of Philip Dick like Do Androids dream of electric sheep, Man in the high castle were quite interesting.

My first fiction was the Alchemist and I'm glad I picked one of the perfect books
@Naruto uzumaki Read Asimov's "The Caves of Steel". It's a short and tightly written detective story set in the future. It has three sequels too, all of them amazing. Also it is set in the same universe as "Foundation".

Youu should try Dune and Foundation series audiobooks by Scott Brick. It is just amazing. I don't think I would loved those books as much if I had read them.
