Well said and explained pastor! Discouragement breads paralysis and depression. Comparisons lead to Discouragement. But we must fear not and be obedient! And know that God is with us and his plans for us is good!

Fear and sorrow for hurting
I just don't know how to not be discouraged when satan will marshal all the forces of hell against me but God can't even be bothered to take notice, let alone care. I haven't walked away, but I know I can't share my own testimony with others because it would push people away from God. Not doing that is the best service I know to do. "Discouraged" doesn't even begin to cover it.
