    This is so cute!!! You are such a beautiful creative lady. i wish you explained how you did the closing of the side... such that it doesn't get stuck with the top

      Hi +Olola - you are a beautiful person too,cos only beautiful people give such kind words. Thanks
      I just folded the end as if to say I was going to do a normal hem and the sew a straight line from the the begining (top) down ,that way it won't have a sharp (rough) cut finish. I hope this helps.xx

    Greetings from the USA. Thank you for making this DYI video. I can learn to make my very own kufi cap. You've done it with style and flaire with the dasjiki fabric. It gives me more than one reason to go to Harlem. Keep doing your thing, beautiful sister.

      @IPHIEANI  Před 8 lety

      Hi +Dámaris Bustos ,
      Thanks for watching. The size of the hat was exactly how I wanted it ...(you could increase dimensions when doing yours) and the paper is just plain A4 sheet (you know that type for printing?yes. .. but you could use any other kind of paper or even fabric if you like.) x

    • @IPHIEANI
      @IPHIEANI  Před 8 lety +1

    The best tutorial. I would like to try this but I don't know what is the "interfacing" Can I use another thing inside of that?

    • @IPHIEANI
      @IPHIEANI  Před 8 lety

      Thanks darling. I think you can use a tougher fabric in place of the interfacing...at least that's what I would use. cheers.xx

    • @bertheniamichael1
      @bertheniamichael1 Před 6 lety +1

      Interfacing is a white fabric that is used inside of a decorative fabric to give it more stiffness so that the band will stay in place when worn. It can be bought in an iron-on or a sew-in, black or white.

      Where and why did he get kicked out the gym for wearing a kufi. He should write the owner and give the history of the kufi. We must inform people.
