This is easily the best scene in a lackluster movie. But yeah, the women took an absurd amount of time to give up the drive in a hostage situation. Nick immediately killing Lin's father really should have been the moment when they realized that they had no other choice but to try to save themselves and the hostages.
Exactly, they knew Nick wasn’t fucking around when they killed lins father, why would they take any chances
