Hi Greg & Keith! If anyone else here is a fan of "Unscripted Moments: A Podcast About Propagandhi", please sound off and let our dudes know how much we appreciate their hard work! Ridiculous effort, long hours, careful consideration of issues, good-faith arguments, and just trying to understand our world and grow to become the best people we can be together? Respect. I wish these dudes had been my teachers, which...they kind of are! Cheers!

Dang, I figured you might do this song last and I was hoping others might stumble onto it by then. Stay safe out there!

Man, I love how this song projects such an unsettling perspective of the world we live in.

We describe the sensation as a tearing in our chests and there is a quality in Freiberg’s father’s post war wail the reaches through the world’s worst speakers and beseeches anyone who happens by on the way to somewhere else, clicking through the endless screens for the garbage on the shelves; reflections of ourselves. To consider the cost of all the shit we seem to think will fill our perforated souls, we’re more hole than human being...can’t wash away that stink..oh’. 13 billion years in the making, a live unfiltered moment, an unscripted encroachment upon the province of routine evil of all too human people, so pious, so peaceful, so quick to turn on you! Though I was fucking out of here, two middle fingers in the air, like a mile wide meteor he came crashing through my door. And that just how it goes and everyone knows ain’t too much can be done. All the avarice and greed and puny human hatreds that dare to come between two human hearts. I try not to live in fear, i’m truly grateful for every happy moment here. Upstairs I hear her voice, she’s softly singing to him and I come undone...something wicked this way comes. And that’s just how it goes and everybody knows: Ain’t too much can be done.

I've listened to this album so many times since it came out in 2012. This remaster almost makes that album sound muddy. There are things I can pick out here that I didn't notice before. Everything flows better from part to part. Certain instruments and vocals sound emphasized or deemphasized at certain times and I think it adds a ton of clarity.

I'd say, because Chris is a perfectionist

i've heard that after a certain period of exclusive rights retained by a record label, an artist is legally permitted to remaster their own work and renegotiate those rights with the label. although propagandhi chose to sign (and have thus far remained) with epitaph, and i have absolutely no reason to believe that they have been mistreated by the label, perhaps this is why they remastered an album that i would agree didn't really need a remaster from a technical, audio standpoint. again speculating from absolutely zero factual basis at all, it's possible that their publicly messy departure from fat wreck made executives at potential new labels a little wary and reserved, and that having now shown that they're as solid as their business partners, they were accorded renewed trust and investment by those partners in future negotiations. but again, i am literally just guessing. i know no more, and quite possibly less, than anyone else about propagandhi's relationship with epitaph.

Drums are the biggest difference. Much more prominent and polished. I’d pull them back so slightly that you get that punch without it taking over the vox and guitar. That’s just me. Sounds great nonetheless
