My best guess on how this happened is that bendy's timer, basically a timer that would count down on how long you have until he can kill you, probably had 1 or 2 seconds left before he would ethier leave you alone or kill you but the timer was paused because of the Cutscene and then continued after the cutscene was finished, hence forth your death.
Yeah I agree, that's my theory too, also I think the delay between the end of the cutscene and my death was probably because it didn't think there was enough room behind me before I walked forward a bit
