    A good example of what journalism has become. When you listen to the report, it seems like people on the beach were surprised by the cliff falling down. Now the truth? I'm French and the reality is that the beach had been closed for days because this was expected. That's why you have people with cameras waiting patiently for the cliff to fall down. From time to time there's a house on top of the cliff falling down with it. (People you see in front of the camera are policemen blocking the area)

    • @orangejuiceman
      @orangejuiceman Před 9 lety +32

      Well if it wasn't for that people wouldn't take much interest on the video. The main point was to see nature take it's course. Of course there is yellow journalism that does go over board, but I think this one isn't so bad as others.

    • @Drayken
      @Drayken Před 9 lety +23

      Why would they not be surprised even if it was expected? It's not like that shit happens everyday infront of your eyes.

      Dude, can it even be called journalism? This is just the American media companies getting footage from someone else and then sensationalising the story and leaving out huge parts of the story to make it seem more wild and interesting, they do this all the time in the US. It's the land of the dishonest media basically.

      Of course it's incorrect, and the few people in the comments getting angry at you and inferring that Americans invented maths or are the best at maths are very conceited. The US ranks poorly in mathematics compared to many European countries and Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore etc. Even other nations like Australia and New Zealand rank ahead of the USA in mathematics.
      Even the mentioning that it was collapsing in broad daylight was strange. Quantumbits seems like a very triggered and troubled American.
