    Suddenly everyone has forgotten the times Klopp has brought on players being decisive and granting us 3pts this season… Disappointing ending to the season no doubt but are we goldfish? Before the season no one would have thought us challenging for the title by any stretch of the imagination, and yet here we are being disappointed not winning it. Let’s give the boys and daddy Klopp som credit.

They made us dream of wining everything which was absolutely wonderful but reality came knocking and the team could'nt hold on till the end. Liverpool’s game management is dreadful. 3-1 up with 5 mins to go. Why play out from the back like that. Yes a big mistake from Mac Allister but Alisson & VVD should know better. Some good football bonkers game but need to see a huge improvement defensively as we are far to easy to score against.

    I am a big fan of Klopp but for the majority of his time at Liverpool, our defence has been problematic. Other than 1-2 seasons out of his 8.5 seasons in charge, we keep leaking goals. Even when we go up, we are never safe because we concede too easily from everyone. And that is after Alisson saves our ass so many times

    • @bigquinny32
      @bigquinny32 Před 9 dny

      Its more the defending than the defence. The midfield never offers protection and the wide players never track back. We had 3 diddy men who cant run in midfield who just get bypassed everytime. • @basikattack3900
      @basikattack3900 Před 9 dny

      Klopp is too stubborn about his play style. Managers like Pep, Ancelotti - when a pattern emerges like going behind every other game or letting opponents back in, they adapt. The team stays counter pressing high up the pitch when 3-1 up - just sit back and keep structure ffs. These fine margins and tweaks are what make those two better than Klopp, as great as Klopp is

    • @Dunk1970
      @Dunk1970 Před 9 dny +1

      @@basikattack3900 I partially agree. It would be great to see them regain the lost counter-attack that they used to do so well. At 3-1 up in is an obvious plan B. For me though, the biggest problem is that when leading, we have developed this stupid habit of passing the ball all the way back to the keeper after we've run the risk of short passing our way out. So we end up having to short pass our way out again. The more times you take a risk, the higher the likelihood you'll muck up. The number of times Szoboszlai, an attacking midfielder with fresh legs, received the ball and just hoofed it back when he had time and space on the ball was doing my head in.

    The facts are defensively this season we have been a shambles. To concede first in 23 out of the 37 games is madness. To not keep a clean sheet in our last 10 games is not a team that were going to win the league. We need to bring in Paulinha from Fulham for £50 to £55m so Endo and Bajetic can learn and watch the best tackling defensive midfielder in the premiership game in game out. We need to ship out this summer: Adrian GK, J Matip CB, Tsimkas LB and Thiago CM. Bring in Robinson LB from Fulham, bring back Sepp Van de Berg from his loan in Germany with Mainz give him real chance to shine as hes doing well in Germany. At the top end we have been awful woeful missed too many chances. 0:00 0:00 Hopefully M Salah is shipped out and sold this summer too for £130m to £160m. Salah should be replaced by these three wide attackers: B Mbeumo Of Brentford for £45 to £55m RWF. N Williams Of A Bilbao for £45 to £50M RWF to compete with one another and lastly competition for L Diaz. D maeda Of Celtic for £7 to £15M LWF. Those three attackers would bring more class quality competition mobility pace speed and goals to whole squad side.

    Liverpool lost the lead because they stupidly persisted in playing short passes around their own penalty area.This has been a constant tactical error over the last few months. The fact Klopp took off his two midfielders capable of defending and left Elliot on who cannot defend meant he threw the game away by not recognising that opposition players are constantly not marked properly from throw ins and free kicks in the defensive third.
    When Allison stands over the ball in a way that he cannot clear the ball easily when challenged that is down to the coaching staff not telling him to get a grip and do it properly.
    In this game both Allison and Van Dyke played dangerous and stupid short balls in a situation that absolutely no benefit could be seen in the pass.

When Liverpool lost in the FA Cup to Man Utd, I think Liverpool had played 10 matches more than them since the start of 2024. That's an extra game every week and with lots of players coming back from injuries. ie Not fully match fit. It certainly isn't all down to that, but I can see it having an effect. Playing it out from the back has its inherant risks, but is usually better than just hoofing it back to the opposition. BUT Liverpool have developed a habit when they are ahead of playing out, then passing it all the way back to the keeper when they don't need to. So they then have to pass their way out again. It's stupid, as it just repeats the risk over and over, while also putting us on the defensive all the time, swinging the initiative to the opposition and we keep shipping goals to it. Poor all round the pitch. How may times did Elliot give the ball away in the first half? The Boss loves him but just not good enough at this level. Diaz and Salah also poor. Struggle to find a player that actually played well. Trent is never a defender. This slow passing sideways and backwards football is really tedious. What is the point of making 10 passes only to finish back where you started? Allision making kamikaze passes from the back was the last straw when I nearly threw the remote at the TV! Salah needs to go with his selfishness. Great player just hasn't been well for a good 2 years now. Sadio mane should've stayed and let him go instead. The defense have huge problems and Allison does too many mistakes with his feet. He should be benched too. They don't want to play with balls like Luis Diaz, v.

    Why change the format with 20 mins to go, Four Subs yet again ! why ??. He did it against Spurs, 4-0 and cruising, Five Subs in the last 20 mins and concede Two making life bloody hard. He has held this pattern all season and it has cost us at times.
    If a pro footballer can't play 90 mins get shut.
    Klopp has worked wonders but this change for no reason is insufferable, anyone should know so many substitutions changes the flow of play and unsettles the rhythm.

Are you one of the Pratt's that think 10/20 mins rests a player that only works Four Hours a week, if your Two or Four Goals up and comfortable don't fix what's not broke. That's why Salah was pissed off, why bring him on Ten mins to go and expect results. With 10/20 mins to go you substitute because of injury, possible spendings off, and pushing for a goal, not for the bloody sake of it. Read Roy of Rovers, it's clearly your Football Encyclopedia.

    In The league we have achieved nothing.
    We had a brill chance of winning it . The players had that chance to win it for themselves ,not for the manager.
    Manager decisions, players inabilities and decision making cost us in the last 4 weeks.
    There are not excuses that are valid reasons for such a fall off.
    Jurgen and players fecking bottled it, like Arsenal did last year.
    Crazy thing is last season we win 8 and draw 2 in our last 10 games,but we can't do it ,when it really matters.

    That man knows how to spin a tale. Spinning is the only way to explain a 3-3, after 3-1 with 10 mins to go. Klopp is a bullshit artist in his post game conferences. Does he in any way explain the defensive lackadaisicalness after having gone up 3-1? NO. He just mouthes words without any meaning. He does not acknowledge his own lack of instilling discipline in the defense
