Bravo pour cette présentation! Merveilleux paysages et belles explications. J'apprécie particulièrement la superposition des images de vendanges et des images de musique!
You wonder just which parts of the organ are the oldest components. Here it looks like a medieval case populated by later work after many rebuilds. Wikipedia claims only 12 original pipes. There's an organ in Westfalia, Germany of around the same period and they reckon around half of the pipes are original.
Marie Claire if the organ stops and keys resembled many of the teeth belonging to Australians esp. in Queensland many of the keys would be missing. Add to this the sound which emanates from the organ voice box and a horror unfolds. Excruciating is the word.
The keys are made of bare pinewood (diatonic) and coloured the sharp. After that the time and musicians fingers provide to make darkness further. Never use polish or other chemical product to clean the keyboard and pedal where exists, only umidified microfiber cloth.
Every year, an Oktoberfest is held in Cape Coral, Florida. What I believe that would be quite cute would be for the company that markets in the U.S. the Ricola brand coagulation lozenge to sponsor a visit to the event a group of Alpine horn performers!
It would be SO nice to have someone narrate a story of this wonderful organ in English.
Check out Diane Bish's Part One explaining and playing this instrument. It's a must see..

Hungaryan old historical organ (1685), Renaissance musik: czcams.com/video/dqTDJYRi6QQ/video.html
This is a great setting for this working artifact, which sounds like an early instrument. Sion is an ancient city, with roots in prehistoric times.
It sounds so beautiful, even better than many of the newer pipe organs

A majestic old instrument and wonderful demonstration ...and then we get meth head John Court spewing his bile. Blow away loser.
I like how the keys look like the teeth of some of the oldest people I know.
Marie-Claire Chapman hahahah
I think they need to use some Bon Ami on the keys.
