The issue arises when you support “militant atheists” and allow the state atheistic position to affect the people in a way that alienated them from their beliefs. Religion should be protected but heavily restricted and under the thump of the state. I say this as someone who believes in an organised religion. Anyone who disparages religious faith or vice versa should be punished.
