- Ready to dive in? Welcome to the 3rd installment of the ULTRAMIX series! If you take away Ultramix's first ever Quest Mode, the interface and length is largely the same, but with a cool underwater feel, and most KONAMI Originals from EXTREME. The list does keep the order for the rest of the Microsoft DDR games. Which would be in the categories below. However, one thing that this game does have compared to past games is an access to the Challenge charts dubbed "ONI"! It would have been better since there is only one that's brand new, but this one in particular is worth it! So what's in store? Only one way to find out!

Another Great Entry but I’m slightly disappointed they only brought 3 Dancemania Liecenses(4 if you Count Body Rock as it appeared in Delux 4)
Also I forgot to mention is the caution logo is a reference to the old caution logo!

I'm sorry but this game as a whole is terrible. The mainstream stuff is okay but then the list shoots down the crapper with the cheap commissioned/indie license music that sounds like generic house and techno that would fit in the movie Hackers. The songs are all over the place desperately trying to cater to all tastes it comes off as someone's Stepmania play list. These Xbox and 360 games really went off with these weird mixes they feel like In The Groove more than the iconic games they started. The music is terrible but worse is how they perform on the hardware. They make the mighty Xbox hardware look weak against the PS2. How can a video game in 2005 that just as scrolling arrows and a 3D dancer fail to run at a smooth 60fps? Konami wasted time and money on these projects. A direct port of the PS2 games would have been a better move instead.
it runs smoother than any of those PS1 mixes (with tha exception of DDR 5th Mix, Dancing Stage True Kiss Destination, and Dancing Stage Dreams Come True) and if u want to get it running smoother, softmod ur OG XBOX and do tha Harddrive cloning method to a bigger hard drive and run tha games through tha hard drive and problem solved and oh don't forget u do have 95 DLC songs throughout Ultramix 1-4 especially exclsuive challenge charts of Un Deux Trois, Ecstasy Original, Secret Rendezvous and AM-3P challgenge charts only for Ultramix 4 sadly with a few exceptions
oh and u think money was wasted in these Ultramix/Universe projects, go look at what Europe got and come back lol
heck even tha US SN2 manages to get Angelus knownin' it's an Avex license u can't say tha same for tha EU SN2 lol
and my gosh be grateful we didn't get nowhere near as bad as EU/PAL region mixes
and heck i'm glad i don't have to suffer through DDR Extra Mix for Together & Forever lol
now to get tha XBOX 360 DLC songs u now have to Jailbreak it however diz time around u don't have to completely do a hardrive mod just to get tha games installed to a XBOX 360 Hard Drive like ya do with tha OG XBOX but if u can McBoot, u can Softmod and Jailbreak no excuses lol
@@blakedmc1989DDRHD Haha great victory that the Xbox games run better than the PS1 ones (5th Mix FYI runs at 30fps on console unlike its arcade version). Interesting that to get the Xbox games running better you have to mod the console. The European games are just as bad as the Xbox games, it's not a case of which grass is greener between the two. I prefer DDR today, like the music is much better, the charts are much harder because they're designed for more professional players. I have A20+ omnimix running on my PC these console exclusives have way too many boring charts that hararely go above level 12 on expert. DDR really had a dark period during these western console games, the Xbox/360 had bad music, the Wii era was terrible I don't know which was worse because the Wii games cut good content (i.e.no edit mode, most had no double) in favor of gimmicks.
@@thebibleisanalternativetot181 well alot of people wants those console exclusives back in DDR including myself and tha reason why tha OG XBOX needed to be modded to run tha games better aside from it being tha only way to get all those DLC songs is tha OG XBOX has alot of failing lasers on their DVD Rom Drive which could cause alot of those Ultramix series games to run alot more worse than what they shipped out so thank goodness for modders to solve those issues and doing cloning to bigger Hard Drives just to have enough space to save more than 1 game to a Hard Drive to avoid use of tha DVD Rom drive
and i liked tha 360 games too but they shoulda went more electronica or at least got all tha cut Dancemania songs which didn't make it to final builds of older mixes sigh only 1 could dream (unless Microsoft buys Konami and they could afford to do such things which would be tha only way) and yea tha newer Arcade mixes are awesome except for dat pitiful DDR X announcer, i would rather deal with tha OG XBOX DDR announcers over tha pitiful DDR X announcer which shoulda been long gone after X1 -_-
@@thebibleisanalternativetot181 also keep in mind tha fail to run at 60fps isn't really 100% tha devs fault, it was mainly tha fault of tha failing OG XBOX's DVD Lazer, which like i mentioned in a few comments can be fixed by mods to get it programed to run on a HDD which made it run alot better not 100% perfect but way better than tryin' to depend on tha DVD Lazer and it wasn't just a problem with Ultramix, it was a problem with all OG XBOX games but as mentioned earlier can be fixed with mods
