Although it is a small change, the fact that carnivores actually need to chase down their prey and get close enough, before initiating their kill animation, makes a big difference for me. The hunting now looks more like what I remembered, back when I played JPOG years ago. I even noticed that the JWE2 predators will sometimes stop their pursuits momentarily, as if to reorient themselves and/or catch their breath, just like how the JPOG carnivores occasionally acted.
JWE2 is basically JPOG: Remastered, lol.
Same I also like that each carnivore has a different success rate on catching the prey like the crylophosaurus canât always catch the prey because the goat is fast
its definitely not a small change to be fair, its one of the big celling points of the game

There's also a chance that the hunt can fail. It happened to my rex and decided to eat from a feeder
The animators deserve high praise, they were the stars of the previous game and are even bigger stars in this one đđđđđđ
same thing here. besides a few weird turns, the animations are fantastically natural. The Deinonichus one was flawless

I've said on the forums that it would be cool of there were Cow, Goat, Pig, and Wild Game feeders and different theropods preferred different ones. Tyrannosaurus prefers goats, Allosaurus prefers deer, Velociraptor prefers cattle, Troodon prefers pigs, etc. Would also be a good way for co-habitating theropods to not have to compete for food. It would also be nice if Frontier changed the Tapejara to forage in the fruit-providing foliage since it was a fruitvore in real life and Dimorphodon hunted prey in the ground leaf/fiber foliage since it wasn't a pscivore, and to have the options of Fish, Cephalopods, Ammonites, and Bivalves for marine reptiles.

Wow... You can actually see how twisted the goat's body is... Spine just got snapped with brute force.
Another brutal thing about it is the way the Indominus swallows the goat. Just... No effort, which pretty much translates to the fact that the goat's bones were pretty much jello at that point.
The Indominus literally just used its hands to break the goatâs spine in half

The indominus rex being green when it first comes out is a nice touch, having taken into consideration its camouflaging abilities.
I kinda love how many of these end up with them knocking them clean through the air or slamming them into the ground like a touchdown.

@@borisp9163 no one knows what the real Rex would of looked like. The JP Rex is called shrink wrapped however more "accurate" depictions of the T rex show it too fat. Should be muscled like a Belgium blue cow imo.

I'm hoping for more animals to be fed for carnivores. cows for larger predators such as Rex and Spino, pigs for medium predators like Carnotaur and Allosaur, and chickens for small predators like Compies. it would also be interesting to watch different kill animations for each, and each animal also coming at different prices. what if you are low on funds and can't afford your carnivores their usual meals? or what if they are just not enough to satisfy their hunger and want something bigger?
Having different animals to feed to your predators could add to maintaining their comfort levels
I know it's not satisfying to hear but the reason why it's always goats is because goat meat is very hypoallergenic for the dinosaurs. It's been explained in the books. Like i said not satisfying to hear lol
That would be cool it would be nice for them to do something like they did with with a herbivores with the palely feeders
And fish too. Some carnivores like Spinosaurus are said to have lived off fish as well. it would be cool to have a fake river/lake in an enclosure that releases fish at mealtimes
@@Toonwalla2010 the game have that for Spino, if you build the fish feeder for spino, it will barely touch the goat or won't touch it at all.

I especially love how the indominus gets a new kill animation. In the first game it simply picked up the goat delicately and swallowed it whole. Oh and my god this game looks gorgeous, hope it comes to the switch.
I also liked the animation in JWE1. This one feels more realistic, but both are great.
Not only that but it also cracked almost every bone in the goats body and killed it with ease, terrifying to imagine how fast Indominus can kill us

I loved how the T-Rex screams at first. Since it can't see unmoving objects, it screams first to intimidate its prey and makes it flee. The rest is pure killer instinct. Magestic.

well this is all Jurassic Park design, but i agree, they need to make a dlc of real life design/looks then add an option to check â it.

I hate seeing the indoraptor run on its hind legs and not gallop I know itâs not a big deal and honestly doesnât make seeing it worse, just imagine the indoraptor fully galloping after a goat and just crushing it. Personally Iâd make the animation were the indoraptor chases and once it catches up it bites the goat just enough to to Trip it they shoving it aside with its arms in a smooth gallop to fling motion just enough to to get it in range for a final brutal kick (similar to iguanadons kill animation for small carnivores) It would then stop, turn and leap onto the goat in quick succession then snapping its neck as a violent finish. It may seem complicated but I think it would be amazing

@@Codyslx I completely agree but I feel it should be reversed similar to the movie weâre it walks on its hind legs and runs on all fours. Iâm glad we did at least get it able to alternate since it makes the indoraptor very unique and it honestly doesnât matter that itâs different from the movie I just get annoyed at little things like that

I think the only thing they are lacking is utilizing species from pre-dinosaurian times. Gorganopsid and Postasucus to name just two. Maybe skso breeding other prehistoric reptiles. Love to see Titanboa or others.

The animation variations are a HUGE step up from the previous game

The thing about the Allosaurus is that its bite force was very weak compared to its size, it was so weak a Lions bite force was stronger!! But because of this disability the Allosaurus grew a way of killing prey nearly horrific. The Allosaurus would use the top section of its jaw like an axe by swinging it down stunning the prey and inflicting fatal wounds so I wish that in Jurassic world Evolution the Allosaurus would do the same by smashing the top part of its jaw as an axe to smash that goat instantly killing it
