The casting change isn't Liam Hemsworth's fault.

Think it sucks that the producers chased Henry away because they want to write their own story. Now they’re going to be more accurate? Seriously? I want to know what happens in the story, but don’t know if I’ll like it without Henry or if the chemistry will work.
It's not simply about their own adaption - they promised something else and think they can kick audience's asses now cause viewers will accept it anyways. That's exactly what happened to the quality of ordinary TV where critique doesn't count anything anymore. That's what will happend to future series/ movies, if we don't start to stick to just a few standards! Common sense. I would not let them treat me that way and all should be proud of Cavill for defending a bit of quality and standard in that business. And I would never support that conduct of those screenwriters!
Love films by Liam, but the role of Gerald of Rivia s definitely for Henry Cavill' that no other actors can replace.

I never read the books nor played the game, so my only exposure to the Witcher is the show. I watched season 3 part 2 the day it came out. I didn't like it. Period.

No Witcher without Cavill. I like the Hemsworth brothers, but none in that show and I would never support those ignorant, insensitive screenwriters. Audience doesn't have to give up every promised standards and we don't have to consent in lowering the quality of series/ movie making any further. See what that did to the quality of ordinary TV where they don't give a sh.. about any critique anymore. Even viewers should have some dignity left and not be seen as stupid consumers without a real opinion with whom the producers can do what ever they want. Otherwise, the quality of future productions will pay the price. The show without Cavill is such an idiocy as the X Files without Scully and Mulder - absolutely useless, without any empathy and a last try to get a bit more money out of a dead horse. Cavill is the only person who wanted the show to be good. Show runners don't want a good show they want to cancel strong male roles so they can represent themselves is someone else's story because they aren't smart enough to write their own story. Even the cast knows that they are filming for no reason. They should have all left too but I get they don't have the same stable career

Actually I thought Henry's flat monotone voice was a really silly idea.I hope Liam's voice doesn't try to copy it.Liam is a really good actor. I think we should give him a chance. After all its the girls that carry the show in my opinion.Freya and Anya are superb. I think if they're changing actors they should have gone the whole hog and cast Idris Elba. He's just scary without the wig or the voice.
Given the weird nature of the books, different translators, written out of story chronolgy order, time and space teleporting, etc. a slightly different looking Geralt should not be too hard to accept. But, Henry embodies Geralt. He has made the role his own. This is like when Sean Connery was no longer Bond. The TV chaps must adapt the books to a core-cast-based story line or the whole thing becomes impossible to film. So we must accept there will be changes. However, poor Liam, he has some huge boots to fill, lets hope he has the magic to keep them on.
We had some great bonds after sean connery. I Thought Daniel Craig was pretty good. Time for a female black bond. What about Apple TV's "Foundation" which was meant for a white male lead but they cast a black female, Lou LLiobell who is absolutely superb and now I can't imagine anybody else. We'll get over it I'm sure.

I would give Liam a shot, Henry definitely had his hopes up that they would stay to the books if they have screen writters when its already written for them and already had there mind set on doing there own thing....he will be missed, but i have always learned to just watch things based off books as an individual, or ill be disappointed.
