He told Reid to keep calling those plays and he'd keep chucking it. Confidence is great, but you also need to know when it's not working, when they've got your number, and adjust. That's what separated Brady and allowed him to make all those amazing comebacks. No hero ball. Take what the defense is giving you. If all you have are short passes to the back and the slot receiver because they are taking away everything else, then that's what you take until they adjust and then go for the kill shot.
