- This is a tutorial for easily getting money your first time playing Farming Simulator 15! I make it look a bit easier than it is because I had to record this like 5 times, but it's still worth the effort.
Ive seen like 4-5 videos similar to this but you put it in the most simple and easiest form so thank you
Cool video, but let me make a suggestion... when you cut a tree hold "Ctrl" to crouch and cut as low as you can so you get the biggest logs possible. Also, cut flat (horizontal) and if the tree doesn't fall, bump it with your vehicle. Lower stumps also give you less problems when driving over them. And selling vehicles at the shop directly gives 20% more money.

OK... I have been playing or a couple days now and I found and easier way... Only one step instead of cutting with chain saw and then getting in buffalo and attaching and dragging... So here it is... When you sell all your stuff and borrow all the money you have enough to buy the scorpion king... buy that one instead... drive to logging mill... use scorpion king to cut down tree... when it tree falls the scorpion king is still holding on to the tree so that you can cut into logs of your choice... at this point don't cut logs just drag with scorpion king to the water or mill spot... just make sure it is low enough on the westbridge farm to activate the lumber mill spot and at bjornholm you just have to swing the tree over to the side and drive so that the tree swings into the water... Hope this helps it is much faster!!! HAVE FUN!!!

DeeGames Actually there is one easier thing. Just buy the Ursus, a chainsaw and go to the lumberyard and place few Poplars and cut them and just push them in the water with ursus. If ursus cant push the trees just slice the tree in few pieces. That is a lot easier. :) And lots of cheaper. Sorry for my english

For people new to the game I'd get the second New Holland tractor from the store and buy the arm and log fork because thats much easier for picking up logs rather than trying to use the crane on that forestry wagon he's using. Also once you've cut the tree with the chainsaw and picked the log up after chopping the tree up into more manageable sized pieces take it to the train and load the train up with logs rather than dumping the logs into the pond. Because when you do that you get money for putting the logs onto the train and also once there is a good amount of logs on the train send the train off and you get loads of money for that.
Just get the scorpion king and you can cut, carry, and strip trees of their branches easily.
Go up to a fir press cut once then drag tree over the water and spam cut until it's gone then rinse and repeat.

I just got this for ps3 yesterday, and if I drop poplars and throw them in the pond I only get $26,000 and yes I am on easy. I also found its a lot easier to use the cranes on ps3 after a little bit of doing it. And lastly I found it easiest to move trees by backing up to the trunk, and loading the trunk as far into the box as I can, and it pulls much easier. Went from taking 5 minutes to get one tree to the pond down to a matter of a minute or less. (Depending on how skilled you are with the crane)

exactly what McKoyo said you get a scorpionking and when you first cut the tree just keep holding it and pull it to lake and if you move arm right way you can do the 8m cuts where they fall right in the lake for about 8k per 8m chunk on avg the scorpking costs 317k but using this method you can make back what you paid and have about 500k profit within 30 min easily ... its a great way to fund setting up all the nice equipment for your farm from the start and also allows you to have plenty of money to buy fields and cows and anything else you want/need

You can easily do this with the tractor it gives you at first, and not sell everything. That would be a lot more practical because you could do other farming at the same time.

The way I done it is go to the store,go to placeables and buy some trees,plant them in the pond and just cut them with chainsaw
you could also buy a t4 powerstar tractor a front loader a log fork the chainsaw and use the frontloader to safely carry the tree to the pound cheaper safer and even not that long taking too and if you have the time you can spam beehouses

u can sell back the tree stumps for half the cash back, only costs 2500 per tree that way and clears the stumps out quicker.

You don't have to buy the ponsse you can still do it with a tractor right?
I started sold everything bought a front end loader and a chainsaw, cut everything around the mill and pushed all the trees into the pond. Works just as good but without having to borrow money
Also, try crouching when cutting down the trees so you can get more of the tree

which trees make more money the poplar or the fir?
I would get the scorpionking instead because u csn cut the tree with it and it will pick it up. Then you can just drop it instead of pushing it.
if you press shift next to the tree and cut it flat in the direction you want and you won't have big stumps

If you take the equipment to the store it sells for a little more than half
Just a tip don't sell your vehicle's because then you have to buy them back just use the combine harvester to push them and I only get 26k each tree

I can't be bothered typing it all out again, so find my other comment on this video and in my comment that should give you a better money making method 👍🏼
Another way to make a lot of money is to sell everything, get a small bank loan and then get the Scorpion King, go to the lumber yard and buy fir trees, use the scorpion king to pick them up and cut them into 8 meter pieces into the pond and it gets you about 50K a tree and you can do that for about 20 minutes and you'll have 1 Million.
