Salmon Fishing the River Lune near Kirkby Lonsdale

River had only a slight rise despite the heavy rain locally. I decided to have a practice switch/spey casting with my 14 foot rod and #9 Scandi fly line. Unfortunately no fish caught but fortunately I didn't catch myself whilst casting.

Ah interesting water...I fish day ticket water at Caton usually late summer autumn...
Anyway best endeavours safe wading and ..these days rather like fishing for unicorns...
though I believe the sea trout can be ok up there?
