Just got this today. Most scenarios will require 100% speed and this thing is LOUD at 100%. Seems like a cool product and I'm not sure it has much competition, but the noise is unfortunate. Hopefully firmware update will make the motors quieter like 3D printing companies have done. Edit: Super novice at video here, but after some searching I do have some hopeful solutions even just from within Premiere Pro, So I think I can come up with something to edit the noise out.
I know this video is a little older, but maybe that will enable you to update us on if/how Zeapon maintains its app. I have the manual version of the Micro 2 and that thing was really well built, so if I was confident that the app would also be maintained, I'd jump on this.
Mark, I have absolutely no need for this gizmo however, a video of the most handsomest face on the inter-webs is definitely worth the cost of administration. LOL....😎😂. Always makes my day.
Those sliders are awesome but pricey, especially if you want pan as well. YC Onion have something similar that cooperates with Ronin gimbals for pan and tilt, never tried though. Great review ! Congrats on 30K... get ready for takeoff !
I seriously love these things. I drag my feet on the reviews because I find it hard to film and talk about the sliders - but the results are mid blowing.
Could you by any chance measure the width+height of the case the slider comes in? Im trying to see if it would fit id have space for it in my camera case. Thank you for the review!
Great job on the video Mark! Thanks for making it. I've been toying with the idea of building my own slider, but if I can get one ready-made without breaking the bank...
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I kind of have to force my way into being handy sometimes just because I'm cheap and don't want to buy things. But it's a balancing act. If the cost of the materials, the time it would take to learn how to do something, and the cost of any tools I would need to make something is one budget column, and the cost to buy a brand new thing is in a second budget column, how closely do those columns have to match before it just makes more sense tp just buy the thing that was built by people who already know how to do it.
Zeapon have been around for a while. They make great sliders. Good communication from the company - but none of my sliders have any problem so I haven’t needed customer service yet
Would really like to see a review of the pan & tilt head. They look like great products.... but very odd that they seem to only be found on eBay and Amazon. That sorta gives me pause, as I prefer to buy from sources with great customer service like B&H.
I have asked them for one a couple of times, but they say they are low on stock - but TLDR filmmaker has done some reviews with the pons PT czcams.com/video/n0lUnEPhYwo/video.html
@Mark Bennett's Camera Crisis seems their distribution and customer service is a lacking a bit (just ran through a few threads on reddit regarding it.) Then again, I've read plenty of bad on Rhino and Edelkrone as well... at much higher prices. )
Z-weapon, interesting choice of words. Since 24/02/2022 I prefer U- weapon. Nice slider but I think for self filming 8k or Lumix open gate and zooming in post would be also good solution.
I love the idea of reframing 8k as well, but sliders provide lots of benefits and you can reframe the 8k in conjunction with the sliders for lots of cool results.

this makes you the best kind of person
What kind of Shutter release cable do I need to connect the Micro3 Slider and the Sony A7III?
works this with the remote trigger on the hot shoe for timelapses (move shoot move)

haha - thanks!! the algorithm will have plenty to say about me not taking off 🤣🤣
It's snowing on the slider! Was this filmed in the Arctic circle? I love this slider, it's insanely good.

never had a slider with a belt and that starts moving so smoothly

ha - I am definitely not handy enough to build my own slider 🤣

This is the first time I see this brand. How’s Zeapon’s customer service if there’s a problem with the slider? Are you still using it?

I just keep needing all this stuff you talk about. 😩
of course!!
How come your the most intelligent best looking CZcamsr on the planet and probably the universe? Life is not fair.
I do feel guilt about that. Having it all can be tough.
It's not just the best bang for buck slider, it's the very best slider on the market and it's not even that close
it’s really excellent

I see a handsome devil that crossed over 30k subs, congrats! ok that's all from me buh bye
I appreciate it. ok. buh-bye.
Mmm I've been eyeing this guy.
all the Zeapon’s are great
Is this good for push in shots
Absolutely
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis max length?
they have 3 different sizes - but the longest can travel 1070mm
I wanna get good at stuff!!!!!!
Step one - get a slider. Step 2 - blindfold
Can i slide into DMs smoothly now?😂😂😂
very snoothly
You need to take a break or something on the whole vid thing. I can't really afford to keep up... 😉
haha - people keep sending stuff for review - I was supposed to do this 2 months ago!! I am way behind 🤣🤣
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis It would be cheaper for me if I just paid you to stop for a while...
Nice infomercial. Cheers
