In this VladTV exclusive, Masta Killa talks about working with artists like Method Man, GZA, Prodigy, Crooked I, and Sean Price. He mentions that he has a ton of respect for late rappers Prodigy and Sean Price, describing them as legends.
In regards to Wu-Tang, Masta Killa said he enjoyed vibing in the studio and working together with the group. Apparently, the last time every member was together was around New Years. Overall, he misses the energy of the group and recalls when they used to drive around and tour in an 18-passenger van.

Real talk... Masta Killa has always been the most loyal member of the Wu. He always speaks the most thoughtfulness as far as the Wu is concerned.
SHIN BAKI HANMA he didn't visit ODB when he was locked up
@@timt8925 none of them did
Meth I'd say.
You can't drop a wu album without u God...thats insane...that voice n delivery was authentic wu
This isn't a true Wu-Tang album. This is a Math album that RZA hijacked for Wu-Tang Productions LLC. This is basically what was to be another compilation of Math's "Wu-Tang & Friends."
You have to agree with what Masta Killa is saying, it was the collective energy of the Wu that made them magic and maybe the fact that they don't get togeather like they used is why their more recent stuff isn't as great as the early album's, in my opinion.
joel Chamberlain of course. 💯
joel Chamberlain EXACTLY
Money changed the WuTang certain members became millionaires so that hunger wasn't there anymore
Yes thats the best way to do songs. With everyone in the studio
listen, everyone has to fall off at some point, these dudes are old as shit now its not the same vibe but thats not their fault, the 90s were a very different time than the late 2000s for music
"when we did 'Triumph'... i had a verse written. was prepared to say it. but when i heard what Inspectah Deck did.... i had to go back..."
WORD... Deck upped the bar level for that track !
Inspectah Deck is the unsung hero of the Wu Tang Clan. Had the material for his first album not gotten lost in a flood in the RZA's apartment, he would've gotten *much* more notice. Everyone in the Clan is a talented emcee, but Deck is on another level. Imagine Triumph or CREAM without Deck...
Michael Hunter that's his blood cousin so of course genius gets first mentions. But genius was on some smart gangster shit
one of the best verses in hip hop history period :)
It’s interesting because as much as I like Masta, he literally killed the flow of that song. GZA was already going slower, but Masta just started talking and it’s kind of a missed opportunity to me.
He seems really humble and easy going, a cool brother.
That actually made me sad what he was saying but it also makes sense. The rest of the wu albums didn't have the same energy as the first 2 albums. It's even more sad because they'll probably never get together again like they used to because of other commitments now. I'm just glad I was there during the first wave of the Wu from 92-97. One of the top 3 best things to come out of hip hop culture forreal
"Homicide is illegal and death is the penalty". Come on man who would have thought to say that line today let alone 20 years ago
Song?

If Rza was to get everyone together all 10 members once again including the affiliates like Killa Priest, with Rza, 4th Deciple, Mathematics & True Master behind the boards and give us the last Wu Tang double LP album..i’d die a happy man 😁👐🏼
That energy that the brother is talking about, as far as all of them being in the studio together, isn't only what made them great. It's what made hip hop great. Technology is no substitute for human contact and genuine comrority. We are living inside the matrix now. Nothing is real anymore. Everything is a bit or a digit. I miss the days when people played instruments and had genuine talent.

Best rap collective ever. The wu had DAT crazy infectious energy together and I feel like they lost some of that energy once ol dirty died. But I would still go to a wu concert any day of the week.
This man choose his words wisely before he open his mouth
Yo Vlad... Interview U-God!!!
Yeah Vlad, holla at Golden Arms!
Why?
U-God funny as hell! you know who isn't, Xzibit (looking at reignmanss profile pic) ALVIN (real name) is possibly hip hops biggest sell out.
You know who one of the funniest memes in the world? Xzibit. You know who's the weakest link of the best rap group in history (despite what the Jalen and Jacoby poll showed) and hasn't been heard from in ages? U-God.
reignmanss hahaha got himm that xzibit I put X in your Y meme ia hars as fuck
Audiobooks read by Masta killa make it happen
Vlad do a U-God interview. He's very outspoken.
Best interview ever
After watching the U-God interview, this comment is hilarious!
No said date is a great album.
last show with all members including ODB was October 2004 at the Orange Show arena in Inland Empire,Ca
True. People like to see a team at work. Because it's not that easy for men to put their egos to the side and get on the same page at one time
You're right, it takes patience. When I was in prison we got together to do a concert, and little by little people started abandoning the project. There were a lot of arguments and disagreements.

Respect to the God.
UNHOLY PRIEST ?
So to Vlad : Masta Killa is Master Killer. Inspectah Deck is Inspector Deck. Uncle Murda is Uncle Murder. This dude throws a hard R on everything...
Wu is the best. ..
That's when I met him touring on one of those vans and I was chillin with Street Life on the Bobby Digital van. The Gods are the realest. I don't think I'll never meet a crew of more real celebrities and as people than the Wu Tang Clan.
Yea not being in the studio together...the whole Wu vibe was the crew vibe

Masta Killa a real laid back dude. This interview seems to be going way better than the U-God one.

They are better off together as a group not just solo and doing email verse shit

Absolutely every Wu Tang fan knows that Wu has never been the same since then. And unfortunately they probably won't be together in the studio again or at least not more than 1 or 2 days

RETRO GAMER because he don't wear garbage.
He's as boring in an overview as he is on a track
