- Taking a try at Bobcats challenge. It was originally intended for a 10/22 at 50 yards with CCi Standard Velocity ammunition. I don't have a 10/22 so I took it out to 100 using the Bergara B14R with budget ammo.
Thanks for the target Bobcat!
Very Cool ! Thanks for Sharing CR! 🕺🏻🇺🇸✌🏻
@nopro5433 thanks for introducing me to Bobcat! 🙏
He has some good stuff over there for sure!
That's a fair trade off.
Better rifle and further distance.
The "take away" from all of the challenges: get out there and know your equipment and your abilities.
Thanks for sharing.👍
@Michigan4Conservative it sure was fun! That bottom row kicked my butt 😆 🤣
I may try it with my Frankin' Henry at 50 😉
Thanks MC! 👉
@@CountryRimfire Lever @ 50 yard challenge sounds fun.
I still use open sights on my Henry, so I would be able to hit the paper, then complete luck for any targets. 😅
@Michigan4Conservative 🤣😂
Mine is scoped with a small cheap optic. I still might not be able to hit paper lol 😅
Worry not, Monday's video is a complete Train Wreck!😮 With Happy Ending!😅😂
@chrislang5659 👀
Haha, ok 👍 Can't wait to see it Chris!!
I have a few derailment's also 😄 🤣
@CountryRimfire my Stevens Buckhorn Rifle wouldn't eject the Tac22 for some reason. I had to manually remove every round. However it shot really good, open sights at 50 ain't easy!
@chrislang5659 heck no that is not easy! I wonder why it wouldn't eject it 🤔
@CountryRimfire extractor is there, spring is springing, I'm guessing rim thickness or something. I'll get it cleaned up and see what happens. Never done that before, and not enough rounds through it to call it dirty.
@@chrislang5659 yeah weird, keep me posted on that one! Eley sticks to my bolt .. doesn't fling out. I have to pull the bolt each time and remove the empty case. It only happens with Eley!
nice work brother
@mrsmel269 thanks, it was pretty fun 😁
Nice!
@drpietrzak thanks Dale!
Coconut Hopper! Check your breathing, be one with the “Coconut Water 💦 “
@Jdelta22nc I have been working on that since watching a video from a precision shooting champion. Not easy to do, let me tell ya!
@@CountryRimfire I hear you, keep practicing. Practice makes permanent! Still working on mine but the more I practice the easier is to remember, like placing my thumb on a rest if available, is there is none my thumb automatically goes to the side of the stock, it was hard to remember at first and now it’s muscle 💪 memory!
@@Jdelta22nc your left thumb? If so, I have never heard of this?
@@CountryRimfire In my case the right thumb, if you place the thumb of your trigger hand on the side of the stock or chassis instead of bracing it, it will decrease the chances on twisting the rifle in either direction. The idea is to have only the necessary contact with the rifle to maintain stability and allow it to normally recoil, of course the heavier the round the greater recoil. One needs to minimize the contact as much as possible.
@Jdelta22nc ahh ok 👍
I like grabbing and being a part of my shooting. I will try that what you say though just to see 👀 😉
I think the no hands on method would make it so I do not enjoy shooting my rifles. 🤔
@CountryRimfire+. Good video and nice 100Y shooting. I think you did better at 100Y than I was able to do at 50Y. Just for fun I did this same target with a Red Dot but just from 20Y, but even at 20Y it was hard to see the smaller ones. I will eventually upload that video. Happy that you got some use out of that target. Thanks for sharing your video and take care. I am subscribing to your channel.
@bobcatforever3485 Thanks, Bobcat!! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed it, my friend. It was super fun and quite a challenge, especially that bottom row. Thanks for the sub 👍 and the targets!!
@@CountryRimfire 100Y is a really long distance for those small targets. Have a great day.
@@bobcatforever3485 makes it fun! You have a great day also Bobcat! Can't wait to see your next video 😉
@@CountryRimfire Thanks much and you take care.
Looks like fun! I’m pretty sure my Ruger 10/22 with the Vortex 3-9 X40 second focal plane scope will make this interesting 😂
@Grumpyseabee22 the actual rules are a Ruger 10/22 with CCi Standard Velocity ammunition at 50. I don't have the 10/22 anymore, so I did it at 100, haha 😂
@@CountryRimfire all things considered you did pretty good!
@Grumpyseabee22 thanks Grumpy!!
Those darn flyers using Norma tac I have the same problem 😢
@@Bob-ux8sn Yup! I have so many issues with Norma! I think it does better than CCi SV, most of the time. It is cheaper by almost 2 beans a box also, soo ...
Good for messing around not using up all your Gucci ammo 😮💨
You don't have a 10/22😮 Me neither!😅
@chrislang5659 I used to 😢 😭
It was a bull barrel sporter. I wish with everything in me, I never got rid of it!!!
@CountryRimfire ill probably have to get one myself. Probably the most customizable rifle in history for the price! Still, I want to get a barrel for the 597 first, just to prove a point to myself!
@chrislang5659 👍
Sometimes you have to do things to satisfy your head!
I need to get another also! Maybe this winter 🤔
