If you're charging using a 3 pin DMX male to connector to plug into a ebike battery (cut off at 56.4v 2.5amp) and the solar system from the Genasun GVB-8 boost charge controller only has (2 wires) a (-) and (+). (the positive (red) has an inline 15amp fuse) do you just connect the black to 3and the red to 2..?
Hi MIc, i assume the pic positive is just the active mic wire and the shield goes around it, where does the negative wire go to, the PTT negative? radio earth sorta thing...Fred.

Please don't share this, as it's not correct. The standard in the audio realm is 2 is positive 3 is not, so 1-Shield (Not Ground) 2. Black, 3, White or Red

I have an XLR connection with 4 wires instead of 3, but I have a 3 pin XLR connector
What would happen if I weld the mesh to another pin and not exactly to pin number 1?, there would be interference?
What if your original XLR connecters don't have the ground force wire?
