      Yup! Chloramines will do it too but those are normally a non issue in an outdoor pool.

    Wouldn't the plaster have copper stains if someone's hair was turning green?

      Thats what the green is.

      @@OurKingdomIsNotOfThisWorld but there are no stains on the plaster whatsoever, and the pool is 3 weeks old with white plaster. If there was copper in the water, there should be stains on the plaster.

      @@Jasheon oh, I see what you are saying now. Yes, usually that green cooper stain would be on the plaster a pretty good tune at 3 weeks of that green copper discharge.

      @@OurKingdomIsNotOfThisWorld Yes, i have seen it a few times but this particular pool is brand new and no visible staining on the plaster, returns, bottom drain, skimmer baskets etc. Something else is going on that is turning their daughters hair green after she swims. She has blonde hair.....

      @@Jasheon you can test the water or take it in and have it tested to see if there's copper in the water
