The scene in The Day After Tomorrow, when both the son and friends are escaping the wolves and the freeze. At the same time, the dad is escaping from the same freeze.
The mine shaft scene from Broken Arrow, where they swim out into the river just before the nuke explodes is a good one that at least deserves an honorable mention. But, with so many movies to choose from, it's hard to just pick 10 and even harder to argue about what didn't make the list.

All four escapes, not before Johnathan snatched the giant diamond on the top of the pyramid.
Does the end of 'Jaws' count? I mean, Brody narrowly escaped being eaten alive in the ocean by a massive shark he stopped by blowing up the air tank in its mouth only a few meters away from him. If that wasn't a narrow escape, then I'm just not here old son.
my list would include : Apocalypto, mission impossible (train tunnel scene), raiders of the lost ark, under siege 2 (final escape from a falling train) , 2012 (earthquake escape scene or volcano escape scene), the day after tomorrow (the escape scenes from that instant freeze to death temperature drop), fast and furious 6 (the scene on the motorway bridge where vin diesel saves Michelle Rodriguez) , deep blue sea ( LL Cool J escaping the shark via the oven scene) , the fugitive (yea that train crash scene) , the mummy returns ( the last scene where the environment was being sucked into the sand)

The empire DID fix the flaw on the deathstar, but the second one was unfinished, it was under construction. That is why they created a huge shield generator to protect the station while it was under construction. To destroy the 2nd deathstar the rebels had to fly their ships into the core of the station itself, because it lacked the same weak spot. Attacking it while it was under construction was the only way to destroy it Did you guys even watched the movie?
Also, the long tunnels are actually a good idea so when something gets fucked up, they can go fix that shit. Everyone just complains about the second death star being exactly the same problem again, but it was really different
True. Plus the second Death Star is far more powerful than the first, with it's superlaser capable of destroying multiple targets each day with minimal recharge time. The original Death Star required many hours to recharge between shots.
