Omg, as a teacher I often find images with text I want to put in my lesson materials, so I print the image and then retype all the text into a document. NOW, with the grab text feature, I can save tons of time when lesson planning! Gracias!
You are very welcome, Anita. All the best as you enjoy saving time preparing your teaching materials!
There is so much we can do with Google Workspace. 👍🏼👍🏼
I did a screenshot, copied it to Google docs. I need that screenshot and tried using your method to extract for that screenshot text.
In this case it was not possible to right click on the copied screenshot to put it in docs.
That sounds like-
you can fool me once not twice.
Is that so?
Amazing! The grab text from image tip came in right on time for me today! Thank you!

Great tips. On my French Canadian keyboard, the ? is "Shift 6" and this does not bring up the keyboard shortcuts. However Ctr+/ does bring up the keyboard shortcuts.

With the updated version trick, does the storage count both versions of the video or just the latest version? [For example, the first video was 20 mb. The second version is 25 mb. Will the storage count for this file be 25 mb or 45 mb?]
How do you get the emoji window to pop up when you want to add an emoji to a file name?
On Windows hold down the Windows key and press the full stop/period key
@@JohnGibsone do you know how to do this on a MacBook?
@@kymburs I don't have a MacBook - but try: CTRL + CMD + Space
@@JohnGibsone Thanks !
Point at ""05:19 Manage version history of Drive files"" -
If I plan to share a single file with someone,
I share a the folder that will have only that file.
This way... forget about the version,
I can even change the type of the file say from doc to pdf or excel.
Do you think, this is a correct strategy ?
Addition... the shortcut to add an emoji to a filename is Win+period (Win+.)
Wait, you added the emoji, but how did you get the emoji menu to pop up? I watched that part twice but did I miss something?
I wondered the same thing. A previous commenter suggested holding down the Windows key then pressing the period key. (Now that I told you, hopefully I will remember so I can try it myself!)
#8-Leaving the terrible behind completely
I want a google chat tutorial because you did never did that
You forgot / skipped #1 - You can save me a heckuva ton of time by eliminating these pre-roll ads that no one wants. Yes, I can but a Premium Subscription, I know. But it's not just here - these pre-rolls are everywhere and they absolutely take up my time.
Mostly repetition of past videos. Just being honest...
