I think that was a reference to the long ladder in Metal Gear Solid 3.
the crypt you come out of blood style is a double easter egg as it has a plaque on it saying something like "here lies KAIN, he refused the sacrifice" an obvious reference to blood omen : legacy of kain that also starts off with you emerging from your own crypt
2:17 You can also see the Robocop Auto 9, Aliens Pulse Rifle and Han Solo's blaster. If every weapon on that display case is a reference. I can bet that the Winchester is a T2 reference, not too sure what the M16 with the grenade launcher could be for tho.
Yeah, I realized the Robocop Auto 9 reference after uploading the video, the gun looked very familiar but I couldn't figure out where I remember it from -.- And now that you mention it, I think the M16 with grenade launcher refers to Scarface
Deckard’s Blaster from Blade Runner is also in there.
...and the "Noisy Cricket" from MiB is also there...
I think that crazy long pistol at the bottom is from Hellsing.
@@kacpi26 It looks like the M16 also has a knife attached and a pad on the buttstock. I think it's a reference to the M16 from a movie called *Planet Terror* where a woman loses her leg and replaces it with an M16 similar to the one seen here.

I might be wrong, but I think the "Impossible" easter egg is a reference to Lucio Fulci's "The Beyond"

The Silent hill Easter egg is pretty cool.
It's a joke in of itself, because the famous meme has Harry think the "I don't see a dog" text, so Shelly instead finds a dog's head in the fridge, which is a thing Harry does earlier in the game, seeing a dog's head under a basketball loop.
Every time Blood is referenced, an angel gets its wings.
Edit: I’m pretty sure that whole graveyard level is an homage to Blood.

Not to mention also the Outdoor/Poster Easter Eggs spread throughout the city maps, such as SlutGPT outdoor, obviously referencing to ChatGPT, and the J.B. Home Razing outdoor, probably referencing to 007: Skyfall where James Bond blows a house in the final act.
Also, there are a few more:
“Willy Wanker's Sugar Tits”, a Willy Wonka Easter egg in the Urban Removal map;
The Road Ripper hover bike AND its price, which is a total reference to Grand Theft Auto Online's Oppressor MK2 hover bike;
The “Fat Earth Society” outdoor, a satire of the flat earth believers;
The “Plastic Fantastic” toy store in the Five Punch Discount mall, which refers to the “Barbie Girl” music from Aqua;
The “WAP” clothing store in the mall, which refers to the GAP clothing company;
The Gaming PC store that is filled with Easter eggs such as the “Deja Voodoo” laptop, referencing to the classic Voodoo video cards. And also, the “P6 chip: 3x Pentium speed”, clearly referring to the Intel Pentium processors.
10:49 is actually a Legacy of Kain Blood Omen reference if you read the plaque on the outside. Kain refused the sacrifice.

A few Easter Eggs I noticed that wasn't on this videos.
On the level "Marina Massacre." When you reach the baseball stadium, there's a sign on the outside that says "DO Baseball!" This is a reference to Streets of Rage 2 Stadium. Before you enter the stadium which is on stage 4. You see the same exact sign and capitalization.
The second one might be a reference to Bionic Commando, but this one could be a reach, and SPOILER ALERT if you haven't finished the DLC yet or reached this part. I don't recall the level where Heskel betrays the general and blows his head up. But that might be a reference to the Bionic Commando ending when Master-D head explodes upon being defeated. But! This one MIGHT be a reach.

Also, the "YOU'RE FIRED!" fax she receives is a Back to the Future reference. And I don't remember where, but there's a computer that has Bio Menace on it, an old Apogee game.

My favourite easter egg from the base game was the bus that said "Sandy's city" on it.
You can tell they were proper Doom fans to put that easter egg in, cus only true Doom fans would know what it even meant.

I think you missed a reference. At 16:45 the logo on the wall looks similar to the Black Mesa logo from Half-Life
The whole section is a HL1 reference... the big vertical fan section that you catch a ladder on the top of... the tanks with agitators filled with acid / lava... etc. It's all referencing HL1 level design... I really like what they did with Ion Fury + Aftershock. I have as much fun finding references and secrets than playing the game.

Love them not censoring the "OGAY" soap. Reminds me of in Doom Eternal where the hologram says "Demon can be an offensive term, refer to them as mortally challenged." Just plain not giving a fuck.

There are more famous guns in that weapon's shop on level 3: the pulse rifle from Aliens, the disintegrator from MIB, Robocop's custom Beretta, the lever action shotgun that the T-800 used before and during the truck chase scene in Terminator 2, the revolver from Gears of War (I think), and even Han Solo's Blaster. Almost all guns showcased there come either from videogames or movies.
Also please note that the game features Mega Man's helmet but you have put Mega Man X's picture instead. Both Mega Man and Mega Man X are actually different characters, and in fact, their helmets altough similar, are also different.
