⚠⚠There is a design flaw with the FN Reflex that is unacceptable. I do not recommend the FN reflex to anyone and would caution anyone interested in this firearm. Get a GX4, hellcat, or p365 instead to name a few better options. I have contacted FN customer service regarding the accuracy and reliability issues with the Reflex. They state that they have received a bunch of pistols in for accuracy issues and that none have failed their standards. However, their accuracy standards for the reflex are 4" groups at 7 yards shot from a bagged position. That is a horrendous accuracy standard. A pistol shot from a bag at 7 yards should be a 1 hole group as clearly shown by my sub 1" group standing with the Taurus GX4. Do not buy a FN Reflex, spend your money elsewhere.
My experience has been the opposite. Mine flat out shoots. I am set up with a dot, and I wrapped the grip to mimic the size and contour of my shield plus. My target acquisition is faster with my shield, but my group size is better with the Reflex.
did you try to shoot it with the iron sights? take the optic off and try to shoot it with the iron sights. see if it hits point of aim, from what i can tell, many of them are having these accuracy issues.
I concur! I have the Reflex, GX4 and P365. Love my Sig, am amazed at the quality and value of the GX4, and can't believe how the Reflex is so consistently inconsistent. I told them mine is defective but FN told me "it requires a 250 round break in period." I have cycled over 500 rounds through it. It still scatters rounds to the bottom left, still fails to feed hollow points, and I too am an instructor with > 40 years of shooting experience. I wanted so much to love my Reflex but have zero confidence in it, so it sits in my safe 😢
I purchased my fn relax mrd. Last week and I wanted to love it so bad but man I hate it . First I’m having mis feeding problems and it’s annoying then it will not shoot accurately and then after one mag full my mag plate on my 11 round. Broke off completely and the spring went flying I just had worst luck with this gun . I put about 200 rounds threw it I cleaned it before I used it and after , it’s loading rounds better but you gotta rock that slide or it will still mis feed. I’m pissed because I really wanted to trust this gun as my EDC but I love my sig p365 xmacro . I would not recommend this gun if anyone is looking to buy. I own 3 other FN’s and have no problems with them it’s just the reflex is not properly made at all. I think FN should give people thier money back because to many people having these issues
Yes, I sincerely believe there's major flaws in the manufacturing or design of the reflex. You weren't unlucky, I had all the same issues, it's an FN problem.

My FN out of the box shot low and to the left 4” after some research and reading the rear sight from FN is a number 6 should be a #8 changed it to a #8 and moved the rear sight 1/8” to the right shoots dead center at 30’ I agree FN should have done a better job on this weapon I’m hitting a 8” plinker at 50’ ten for ten at 100’ 8 of 10 I had a few fail to feed in the first 100 field striped and cleaned light oil no problems hope this will help I usually shoot low and left but not 4” I’m right handed and right eye dominant most shooters that are right handed tend to do this in my 45 years of shooting I have found but I’m just a novice the sight change and adjusting fixed my problem shame I had to spend extra money for FN mistake ❤
My Reflex jammed continuously… not 1 mag without a FTF … FN said it was fine and I need to break it in more and to practically have it dripping with oil. I put another 300 through it (about 600 rounds total) and absolutely no change. FN maintains its me. I sold it and got a GX4 … flawless so far and more accurate. My Reflex also shot low left with a wide grouping. FN lost a customer for life…… not that they’ll notice.
Mine shot accurately, when it shot, after two days I sent mine back to FN for repairs, it had 7 failures out of 75 rounds which wasn’t too big a red flag at first because I thought “oh, it has a break in period” so when I cleaned it again after shooting it completely fails to even rack a round in the chamber
firing pin is probably stuck forward. same thing happened to me. Less then 30 days after purchasing and about 500 rounds in. sent it back to fn and they had the nerve to charge me 140 dollars to fix it. I couldn't believe it. Put a round in the chamber and put your mag in and see if it cycles. thats what mine was doing, couldn't load an empty chamber from the mag but if it had one in it would cycle. This is my into to Fn firearms and I have to say. I dont fuck wit em at all anymore.
@@user-jg5gt5rg7t so it turns out it was the ammo, fn got it and tested it, it was fine got it back today and tried four ammo types, turns out a lot of my hornady American gunner rounds were duds, they experienced major bullet setback that bulged the case to where it would not chamber, everything else loaded and shot with zero issues
I have been seeing similar reports from several folks on the FN Reflex... I want to like it, but at this point it is a HARD pass. Thank you for the comparison video !
My wife got to try out the FN reflex and also was very inaccurate with it and my best group was like 5 inches at 7 yards.. So she went with the FN 509 compact. Hell my FN 502 .22 was way more accurate then the reflex lol
I wondering if anyone has found a fix for the down and low left problem for this gun. I’m thinking the plastic guide rod is flexing and causing the problem. I replaced the rear sight with an sig #8 and drifted it to try and compensate for the inaccuracy problem. This was a huge waste of money and time so far with no permanent fix.. and don’t throw those comments that it’s the shooter.. this gun has big problems and fn should recall everyone of them
Gx4 still 3 years later has delyaed fire and trigger reset issues. Taurus poops out lemons and winners in the same batch but their thr most inconsistent pistol

There's no way sights whether Iron or red dot affects the gun's accuracy , maybe affects your ability but not the guns .
Mine shoots 4" low and 4" left at 15 ft.

yup.. its not a good gun. i got rid of mine because FN told me the same thing and they didnt even want to see proof.
