If you look at the leaderboards for the current event you'll see lots of Chinese and Russian accounts with 4+ kda. I know Hunt is open with how many people they ban for cheating, but they need to do better. It's so obvious to see who's hacking
@@thomasdick6797 The event points can be bought with stacked boosters and sponsored hunters. But seriously though, I think Rachta only has a 3.0+ KDA. Anything over that should be investigated by Crytek; this game is hard to have that high of a KDA in whether from the gun play mechanics to the trash servers. So anything 4+ KDA should be looked into. Is it possible to be "that good?" Sure, but it's also the bordering position that most cheaters reign in at too. But yeah, the folks netting 1000 event points per hunt could just be stacked in boosters and dropping major dollars on the event which...is dumb anyway.
The thing is "I know hunt is open with how many people they ban for cheating" it's not true, it's random names! Both me and plenty of my friends "names" have been in the ban waves, With the exact type and numbers. I even have 2 friends with over 1500h in the game and they've been cheating for 2 years back and forth, i typed to the devs about it and said i had proof, they banned me from their discord and forum for "No naming and shaming" So F stupid! They do not ban anybody as long as they dont kill any "big" streamer.

I had something similar the other day. A guy with an Avto at that. My partner was downed from 70+ meters with an Avto headshot. When my partner told me I got behind some haybales inside Darrow Livestock boss arena. He was trash talking and unloading clip after clip where I was and I saw the shots landing where my head would've been. I called him out on cheating and he denied it and kept trying to find angles. He finally got downed by a single Sparks shot, even though I didn't take the shot it was immensely satisfying to hear him die. He not only had an aimbot going, he also had limitless ammo from the sounds of it. It perplexes me why people would cheat, how satisfying can any victory really be at that point? It's not like we win real money at the end of a match.
Same I got downed by avtomat cheater but it wasn’t 70m away it was 450m away xD he was blasting 2-3 compounds away and I thought a fight broke out far away until I died
The only reasoning I can put behind this kind of cheating is someone who only feels good when they're ruining someone else's fun. Or someone who's such a total failure at literally everything that cheating at hunt showdown is all they have keeping them from just self deleting. Sad really.
When you have no morals or never felt the sense of accomplishment before there's not alot holding you back, but in some cases these people just like to rile people up by cheating, imagine losing a high tiered hunter with a bunch of good gear because some sad waste of life thought cheating would be funny. I'll be honest, I'd be livid.

Imagine a monster spawning in a random match. You don't recognize it as any of the other bounty targets, but it looks like it's on a hunt of its own. Slowly but steadily walking, then striding, then lunging, the closer it's target is the faster and scarier it becomes. Tears into a building before flashing lights go off, alongside a audible "CRUNCH!". It is at that moment the lobby knows, a cheater has been erased from the game. It would be awesome if a game were to have that kind of mechanism in place. What do you think?
It would be cool if someone was cheating, the game detects this and sends an unkillable immolator, that can explode more than once. And it only aggroes the cheater.
It’s because you guys can’t tell when somebody is cheating and you just end up slandering somebody lol the dude in this video isn’t even half as good as rachta or Delaney as examples and the uploader is on some copium because he can’t handle being headshot and losing his gun that’s crusted over with sweat residue. He actually said an aimbot wouldn’t be able to handle an avtomat lmfao. If it was an aimbot it sure as hell can play a lot better than him. Dude misses sparks shots at medium range, uses scans, and is clearly listening to enemies to get their spots. Also if somebody is new to the game, they do not play in hunter mode, they will play gunslinger. That dude is just pretty good and shit on them, you get placed in lower lobbies when you queue solo. The uploader got a glimpse of higher level hunt and shit his avtomat pants.

I love when your suspicious someone may be cheating so you go to their steam profile and it says they are a level 0 with only one game with less than 5 hours playtime. That immediately lets you know. I just think to myself how skilled one must be to be wiping lobbies within the first 5 hours of owning a PC, took me longer than that to find the ON switch.

The delay you see is caused by spectator mode not showing what's actually happening on his screen, so you're seeing his ping through your machine (he's probably in china so the amount makes sense), also spectator mode doesn't line up visually with the players actual line of sight, so he might see things that you can't because of it. And while there ARE players who are really good at echolocating players through walls, the two headshots on the players below are super suspicious. That said, even if we gave this guy the benefit of the doubt, and assume he somehow isn't cheating, what does that say about the matchmaking in this game? This game desperately needs a replay mode that shows you EXACTLY what the player who killed you saw. It would clear up so many suspect kills, and make catching cheaters easier. also crytek needs to hardware ban cheaters.

correct me if im wrong but i believe crytek already hardware bans cheaters. there is this small german hunt streamer whos steam acc was hacked and he got banned everywhere (even with max security). valve later unbanned him from other games but for some reason even with a email from valve involved they still wouldnt unban him lol. he ended up directly contacting a dev who atleast removed the hardware ban so he could play on a second acc.

I saw a hacker in a match playing solos. Used a Caldwell Conversion with FMJ and just headshot literally the entire server while sprinting around. It was such horseshit. And you know Crytek won't do shit about it.
I've stopped playing Hunt because of this, even 11 months after this video. Developers of these extraction based shooters do not care at all about cheating, just mask it behind more frustrating features. The cheating problem is just as bad today if not worse.

i think there are way less people cheating than most ppl think. I've seen players think a simple wallbang based on audio means cheater. less experienced players tend to think higher level gameplay is cheating
I didnt see this vídeo. Glad I see it now and thank you for sharing it. It doesn't surprise me tbh. I can imagine the amount of cheaters in hunt showdown these days. That lvl 1 steams, P0 or P1, with like 500h (which is a lot and shows how good the anti cheat devs are using actually is) and behing so aware of everything in the game, impossible to surprise or outplay, map knowledge from a 3k hours player, with a crazy aim. I just report them all. Cuz 500h? dudes with 500h dont even know contact points in the map.
I remember running into a hacker when I streamed hunt last month who called himself YT/ScrubOTY. He wasn't even trying to hide his cheats, especially when he couldn't wall bang most of the sandbags or concrete up at weeping. Imagine getting double bounty map, shots off to spiders side of the map. Just to later find out, he hunted the entire server from afar with his mosin sniper before he targeted us to help complete his event on his hacker account. Got the footage still, just haven't bothered to upload it yet. Doesn't help that there is no proper anti-cheat application for Hunt like battle eye or something else. Funny enough, on his actual youtube, he claims to not promote cheating nor the use of cheat apps. Yet, he still used them to farm for points. And his video was about a month or two old at the time. The video was nothing more than a cover-up showing people "what cheats look like" from his point of view. And he still used them for his benefit to make the game impossible to enjoy that night. His youtube doesn't seem to be available anymore, either a name change or deleted channel to cover his ass. This game is hard enough to play as it is when you are a rager who keeps getting bs moments from the server desync, server lag from other people, the trades are truly something else. This might be another one of those heavily invested games that I might retire from if stuff like this keeps happening. Server issues are one thing, but hackers who are able to get away with instances like this. Because the easy anti-cheat app, isn't really that promising just makes the game feel a little worse. I mean sure, record and send the footage to make a easy report. But the crytek account is another thing separate from the actual steam account. This bringing to the point where that kind of improper activity cannot be detected, nor recorded on the steam vac ban records simply because Hunt is not a Valve company owned game and will not give the VAC ban tag. Sorry this went from a shared experience to a completely whole topic mixed into a rant about hackers and their impossible to focused bans. Not gonna say which site but those familiar with hackers will know but theres usually about 10+ new hacks for hunt a month with thousands of people downloading each of them (Probably the same ppl downloading multiple hacks) its fucking sad that people cant play legit.
no it's not, hardly ever had someone who might be even considered a cheater in 300+ hours mate, it's just a rough game where you can do a lot of things which may look like cheating

Way too high of a number, I wouldn't even say 30% of 6-star players are cheaters, but there certainly are a significant amount at the high tier. 3 and 4 star is all just peeps lookin' to cowboy it up and send it. Most of the player base is the 3-4 range, as well.

The problem really is that we have NO idea how many people are cheating. Add killcams, all kill views, or ANYTHING that can provide validity to our report.

Sadly it happens. I've got around 2k hours and cheaters are kinda rare but I have seen prestige 100s that were cheating. And I am a 5 star that plays against 6 stars all the time, most of them are just so good a casual would think they were cheating. But im talking about people that are obviously cheating. Hell I've been called a cheater many times but they just don't realize how powerful good audio is.
I fell in love with this game, one of the reasons why is this, you can find a cheater, melt his brain and kick his ass, or leave. A friend and I found one that was just flagrant, we tricked him and another team and left them fighting while we left with the bounty 🤣
Actually pulled up this video because the last few nights my husband and I have noticed some "strange" moments. I'm unsure of how much these hacks have progressed but there was a point neither of us had moved and inch and someone ran right up to the both of us and bomb lanced us both with one hit using melee. We don't typically stay together but this time we did for just a moment too. Other instances were through walls or floors that you typically couldn't actually see through as a normal player if you will, especially non moving. Just annoying having to deal with this, and not having them look into this further.

That's why he is using dark sight and playing kinda safe. If he is balantly and quickly killing everybody, then he would have been banned already. He plays like this keep himself from being banned.

The one game hacker get multiple accounts to prestige 100 and never get banned. Until they kill a high end streamer nothing happens and most countries don't have big streamers they just have teams of 6 stars.

To answer a few things here... I am 95% sure they use the cheats to fake hours played and prestige. There are 100% people who have actual over 1000 hours played in this game and cheat, but someone like this is likely faking it. I also know for a fact that some cheat clients offer the ability to tell you if someone is spectating you - which is why you will die to something completely inhuman or get hit over and over and over, then when you spectate they look semi-normal. I don't think this guy had that, I think he was just trying to keep his replay semi-believable in case he gets reported. Idk what rank you are, but when you get into the high 5/low 6 region, this shit is so common it is insane. I usually have to go against a cheater team once every 3 games or so. It is that common. Part of the reason the consistent cheaters don't get banned is because there is no actual physical proof that they are cheating, because the prolific cheaters are running their cheats through a VM. So like a BB/YS/SWMG/Scumge player for instance will get hundreds of reports a day, the devs will check their logs and see nothing being tampered with, and then can't ban them. It doesn't help that they have thousands of actual game hours to add to their credibility; they know how to play the game normally and know how to fake it. The solution (assuming Crytek is going to continue to do nothing about the cheaters they can't prove are cheating) is to give people the ability to block players. When you get into higher lobbies, you literally see the same cheaters 5-7 times a week - over the last several years. All I can say is, I am super glad they messed up the MMR matchmaking so lower 3-4 stars get a chance to experience these cheaters... because soo many of these people are in the discussion forms going "I have 400+ hours and have never seen a cheater"... they exist... and they are rampant if you get good.
I've had my fair share of encounters with cheaters. My question is how they get away with it so easily? I was in a match recently and a solo downed my whole team with a Nagant Carbine Deadeye and bleeding ammo in fog. He one-shot each of us from so far away that you couldn't see anything and his footsteps were muted. Not like crouched and moving so slow they were quiet, I'm talking about full sprint and no sound at all. If it was clear with a good line of sight and he was crounched in the bushes or something, then I wouldn't have been mad. But I managed to hit him perfectly in the head when I finally did see him and he lived, before killing me and running off. I spectated him and saw that my shot took most of his health, but he survived a perfect headshot which is impossible in Hunt. I reported him, but I doubt much will come of it.
Whats really sad about this is that people always defend the blatant hacking. "Oh he just heard him" so hackers just just wallbang all day and never get banned because this community will believe it.
It's because of two reasons: the first is because there are people like Ratcha or other high 6* players who can pull off expert wallbangs, snap headshots and are just phenomenal at the game, to the point where it looks like hacking from the outside. So people know it's possible to do shit that looks like hacking in this game if you have enough skill. The second reason is you have people who cry hacker every time they lose a fight in this game. Every lucky headshot, unlucky shotgun spread, wallbangs etc... Has them screaming about the person who killed them is definately a hacker or cheater. The hunt reddit is full of these second groups of people. Just incredibly toxic. These two things in hunt makes it harder to identify actual cheaters unless it's blatant (like in this video). At the end of the day, it's almost impossible to differentiate between a very skilled player who has trained muscle memory to snap crosshairs to foreheads over years of playing shooters, or those who paid a Chinese hacking group to give him auto aim and is smart about using it.
@@crispy0103 Rachta has hacked before though. From the fact he has been vac banned on his stram account, to his really early videos of extremely blatant hacking. Rachta doesn"t always hack and when he doesnt he is just a regular player, not shooting people in the head through walls consistently. The audio in hunt is not good enough to consistently wallbang. You can do it sometimes but you cant just slam people through walls with headshots constantly and to think it is possible is downright ignorant. Just cause you know somebody is behind a wall doesnt mean you know exactly where there head is to shoot them.
@@isaacsteele7986 Hard disagree with regards to the sound. Hunts audio is good enough to what where people are behind walls. I recently bought a new headset and the difference is huge. You can tell whether someone is crouched or stood up based on the sound of their foot steps and of you've played enough, you can also know the height that the head is at. I have a friend who can dome people through walls based on the sounds of footsteps when he's pressed against the wall. He isn't cheating, he's just played Counter Strike for the past 15+ years. You're right that it's next to impossible to get it consistently, but that doesn't mean you can't get wall bangs often. It's just harder to do, not impossible. I watch multiple different Hunt streamers who do it a tonne. Im regards to Rachta, which videos are showing blatant hacking? I'm curious to know but not curious enough to go through the hours of his early videos.
@@crispy0103 His very first uploads are obvious, but if you click on my channel there is a really obvious example i uploaded of rachta locking onto a guy through a wall. Me and my freinds have not had anywhere near that experience with hunt. Alot of times audio vertically just doesnt work and sound above or below you either sound on the same elevation or dont render. We also came up with a term "getting hunt sounded" or "binaural audio'd" because oftentimes you hear sounds in the wrong direction. The same sound will trigger, to one of us its west and the others its east or south but we both hear it. It happens constantly with everyone i have played the game with.
@@isaacsteele7986 I watched a few of his earlier videos, didn't see anythign fishy. Watched the one video on your channel, the only potential explanation I can see is that you can briefly see what is either the silhouette of a hunters head/hat, or a hooded lantern when he flicks up. But admittedly, thats just my guess. In terms of his mouse movements, they all look like that - very smooth, almost snappy, but they're always like that including when he's in a menu, or just looking around an empty field, so it doesn;t seem like an aimbot. In regards to your issues with the sound, do you ny chance have any surround sound software, or features built into your headsets? I have on mine, but if its switched on, it fucks the soundof Hunt very badly, makes it nearly impossible to determine direction or distance of sounds. Check for Spatial Sound in windows, and make sure you have things like "Dolby Atmos" or "Windows Sonic" switched off when playing Hunt, it will improve your sound experience by a tonne. I was accidentally playing with it switched on for over a year and a half, so I know it can be easy to miss.
This is so sad to see. I really love Hunt Showdown, it's my favorite online fps rn but all the bugs, glitches, atrocious servers and cheaters are ruining it. I'm at a point where I'm really considering quitting.
to be fair, it is possible to track ppl thru the floor/wall with just being able to hear them. and if you have an idea of where people are far away players can quickscope without cheats. I can see people thru the stack of wood in that compound, you only need to see a tiny bit of movement and hear them to know they are there. cheaters running rampant right now i knew there was sometin fishy about allot of my deaths getting more angry at the game having almost have to take a break rn, in my 5 years of playing i never felt like this past month or 2 with allot of dodgy shit going on.
Some people cheat for kills, others for ranking but the way this person plays, it's to ruin their game. Sadly, crytek does little to stop cheaters and putting his name on steam to flag him is against valve's rules. And being at level 1, I would assume he has several accounts.
So sad. Hunt is a great game with interesting lore and gun play above so many games, but sadly Crytek cannot control this still. It really makes it frustrating because even if just 1 player on a team is doing this, you are at such a huge disadvantage.

What people will do is Create accounts and buy a few games, then cheat to get high ranks or impressive scores, then sell the accounts to Gamers chasing clout. It's the progression of MMO account farming.
my friend cK HULK and i were grinding in RDO doing a pelt delivery when we were ambushed by a cheater that lite us up like 4th of July and we could not kill him we reported him but idk if it did much good, cheaters like this have no place in online games

I had something similar the other day. A guy with an Avto at that. My partner was downed from 70+ meters with an Avto headshot. When my partner told me I got behind some haybales inside Darrow Livestock boss arena. He was trash talking and unloading clip after clip where I was and I saw the shots landing where my head would've been. I called him out on cheating and he denied it and kept trying to find angles. He finally got downed by a single Sparks shot, even though I didn't take the shot it was immensely satisfying to hear him die.
He not only had an aimbot going, he also had limitless ammo from the sounds of it. It perplexes me why people would cheat, how satisfying can any victory really be at that point? It's not like we win real money at the end of a match.
Same I got downed by avtomat cheater but it wasn’t 70m away it was 450m away xD he was blasting 2-3 compounds away and I thought a fight broke out far away until I died
The only reasoning I can put behind this kind of cheating is someone who only feels good when they're ruining someone else's fun. Or someone who's such a total failure at literally everything that cheating at hunt showdown is all they have keeping them from just self deleting. Sad really.
When you have no morals or never felt the sense of accomplishment before there's not alot holding you back, but in some cases these people just like to rile people up by cheating, imagine losing a high tiered hunter with a bunch of good gear because some sad waste of life thought cheating would be funny. I'll be honest, I'd be livid.

Imagine a monster spawning in a random match. You don't recognize it as any of the other bounty targets, but it looks like it's on a hunt of its own.
Slowly but steadily walking, then striding, then lunging, the closer it's target is the faster and scarier it becomes. Tears into a building before flashing lights go off, alongside a audible "CRUNCH!". It is at that moment the lobby knows, a cheater has been erased from the game.
It would be awesome if a game were to have that kind of mechanism in place.

It’s because you guys can’t tell when somebody is cheating and you just end up slandering somebody lol the dude in this video isn’t even half as good as rachta or Delaney as examples and the uploader is on some copium because he can’t handle being headshot and losing his gun that’s crusted over with sweat residue. He actually said an aimbot wouldn’t be able to handle an avtomat lmfao. If it was an aimbot it sure as hell can play a lot better than him. Dude misses sparks shots at medium range, uses scans, and is clearly listening to enemies to get their spots. Also if somebody is new to the game, they do not play in hunter mode, they will play gunslinger. That dude is just pretty good and shit on them, you get placed in lower lobbies when you queue solo. The uploader got a glimpse of higher level hunt and shit his avtomat pants.

Look at 7:31 for example, there is no way this shot should have hit! It could be that the game has delayed hitboxes though in that situation.

I love when your suspicious someone may be cheating so you go to their steam profile and it says they are a level 0 with only one game with less than 5 hours playtime. That immediately lets you know. I just think to myself how skilled one must be to be wiping lobbies within the first 5 hours of owning a PC, took me longer than that to find the ON switch.

The delay you see is caused by spectator mode not showing what's actually happening on his screen, so you're seeing his ping through your machine (he's probably in china so the amount makes sense), also spectator mode doesn't line up visually with the players actual line of sight, so he might see things that you can't because of it. And while there ARE players who are really good at echolocating players through walls, the two headshots on the players below are super suspicious. That said, even if we gave this guy the benefit of the doubt, and assume he somehow isn't cheating, what does that say about the matchmaking in this game?
This game desperately needs a replay mode that shows you EXACTLY what the player who killed you saw. It would clear up so many suspect kills, and make catching cheaters easier.

correct me if im wrong but i believe crytek already hardware bans cheaters. there is this small german hunt streamer whos steam acc was hacked and he got banned everywhere (even with max security). valve later unbanned him from other games but for some reason even with a email from valve involved they still wouldnt unban him lol. he ended up directly contacting a dev who atleast removed the hardware ban so he could play on a second acc.

We've killed a duo that played just like this, and it was the most satisfying shit, EVER.
I saw a hacker in a match playing solos. Used a Caldwell Conversion with FMJ and just headshot literally the entire server while sprinting around. It was such horseshit. And you know Crytek won't do shit about it.
I've stopped playing Hunt because of this, even 11 months after this video. Developers of these extraction based shooters do not care at all about cheating, just mask it behind more frustrating features. The cheating problem is just as bad today if not worse.

I didnt see this vídeo. Glad I see it now and thank you for sharing it. It doesn't surprise me tbh. I can imagine the amount of cheaters in hunt showdown these days. That lvl 1 steams, P0 or P1, with like 500h (which is a lot and shows how good the anti cheat devs are using actually is) and behing so aware of everything in the game, impossible to surprise or outplay, map knowledge from a 3k hours player, with a crazy aim. I just report them all. Cuz 500h? dudes with 500h dont even know contact points in the map.
I remember running into a hacker when I streamed hunt last month who called himself YT/ScrubOTY. He wasn't even trying to hide his cheats, especially when he couldn't wall bang most of the sandbags or concrete up at weeping. Imagine getting double bounty map, shots off to spiders side of the map.
Just to later find out, he hunted the entire server from afar with his mosin sniper before he targeted us to help complete his event on his hacker account. Got the footage still, just haven't bothered to upload it yet. Doesn't help that there is no proper anti-cheat application for Hunt like battle eye or something else.
Funny enough, on his actual youtube, he claims to not promote cheating nor the use of cheat apps. Yet, he still used them to farm for points. And his video was about a month or two old at the time. The video was nothing more than a cover-up showing people "what cheats look like" from his point of view. And he still used them for his benefit to make the game impossible to enjoy that night. His youtube doesn't seem to be available anymore, either a name change or deleted channel to cover his ass. This game is hard enough to play as it is when you are a rager who keeps getting bs moments from the server desync, server lag from other people, the trades are truly something else.
This might be another one of those heavily invested games that I might retire from if stuff like this keeps happening. Server issues are one thing, but hackers who are able to get away with instances like this. Because the easy anti-cheat app, isn't really that promising just makes the game feel a little worse. I mean sure, record and send the footage to make a easy report. But the crytek account is another thing separate from the actual steam account. This bringing to the point where that kind of improper activity cannot be detected, nor recorded on the steam vac ban records simply because Hunt is not a Valve company owned game and will not give the VAC ban tag. Sorry this went from a shared experience to a completely whole topic mixed into a rant about hackers and their impossible to focused bans. Not gonna say which site but those familiar with hackers will know but theres usually about 10+ new hacks for hunt a month with thousands of people downloading each of them (Probably the same ppl downloading multiple hacks) its fucking sad that people cant play legit.
He did try though, he killed few people with suspicious wallbanging, so he acts like he was playing legit game to avoid reports.

Way too high of a number, I wouldn't even say 30% of 6-star players are cheaters, but there certainly are a significant amount at the high tier. 3 and 4 star is all just peeps lookin' to cowboy it up and send it. Most of the player base is the 3-4 range, as well.

Sadly it happens. I've got around 2k hours and cheaters are kinda rare but I have seen prestige 100s that were cheating. And I am a 5 star that plays against 6 stars all the time, most of them are just so good a casual would think they were cheating. But im talking about people that are obviously cheating. Hell I've been called a cheater many times but they just don't realize how powerful good audio is.
I fell in love with this game, one of the reasons why is this, you can find a cheater, melt his brain and kick his ass, or leave. A friend and I found one that was just flagrant, we tricked him and another team and left them fighting while we left with the bounty 🤣
Actually pulled up this video because the last few nights my husband and I have noticed some "strange" moments. I'm unsure of how much these hacks have progressed but there was a point neither of us had moved and inch and someone ran right up to the both of us and bomb lanced us both with one hit using melee. We don't typically stay together but this time we did for just a moment too. Other instances were through walls or floors that you typically couldn't actually see through as a normal player if you will, especially non moving. Just annoying having to deal with this, and not having them look into this further.

The one game hacker get multiple accounts to prestige 100 and never get banned. Until they kill a high end streamer nothing happens and most countries don't have big streamers they just have teams of 6 stars.

To answer a few things here... I am 95% sure they use the cheats to fake hours played and prestige. There are 100% people who have actual over 1000 hours played in this game and cheat, but someone like this is likely faking it. I also know for a fact that some cheat clients offer the ability to tell you if someone is spectating you - which is why you will die to something completely inhuman or get hit over and over and over, then when you spectate they look semi-normal. I don't think this guy had that, I think he was just trying to keep his replay semi-believable in case he gets reported.
Idk what rank you are, but when you get into the high 5/low 6 region, this shit is so common it is insane. I usually have to go against a cheater team once every 3 games or so. It is that common. Part of the reason the consistent cheaters don't get banned is because there is no actual physical proof that they are cheating, because the prolific cheaters are running their cheats through a VM. So like a BB/YS/SWMG/Scumge player for instance will get hundreds of reports a day, the devs will check their logs and see nothing being tampered with, and then can't ban them. It doesn't help that they have thousands of actual game hours to add to their credibility; they know how to play the game normally and know how to fake it. The solution (assuming Crytek is going to continue to do nothing about the cheaters they can't prove are cheating) is to give people the ability to block players. When you get into higher lobbies, you literally see the same cheaters 5-7 times a week - over the last several years. All I can say is, I am super glad they messed up the MMR matchmaking so lower 3-4 stars get a chance to experience these cheaters... because soo many of these people are in the discussion forms going "I have 400+ hours and have never seen a cheater"... they exist... and they are rampant if you get good.
Okay, this explains some headshots I get while jumping for far away. I didn't know that was cheating in hunt.
I've had my fair share of encounters with cheaters. My question is how they get away with it so easily?
I was in a match recently and a solo downed my whole team with a Nagant Carbine Deadeye and bleeding ammo in fog. He one-shot each of us from so far away that you couldn't see anything and his footsteps were muted. Not like crouched and moving so slow they were quiet, I'm talking about full sprint and no sound at all. If it was clear with a good line of sight and he was crounched in the bushes or something, then I wouldn't have been mad. But I managed to hit him perfectly in the head when I finally did see him and he lived, before killing me and running off. I spectated him and saw that my shot took most of his health, but he survived a perfect headshot which is impossible in Hunt. I reported him, but I doubt much will come of it.

Whats really sad about this is that people always defend the blatant hacking. "Oh he just heard him" so hackers just just wallbang all day and never get banned because this community will believe it.
It's because of two reasons: the first is because there are people like Ratcha or other high 6* players who can pull off expert wallbangs, snap headshots and are just phenomenal at the game, to the point where it looks like hacking from the outside. So people know it's possible to do shit that looks like hacking in this game if you have enough skill.
The second reason is you have people who cry hacker every time they lose a fight in this game. Every lucky headshot, unlucky shotgun spread, wallbangs etc... Has them screaming about the person who killed them is definately a hacker or cheater.
The hunt reddit is full of these second groups of people. Just incredibly toxic.
These two things in hunt makes it harder to identify actual cheaters unless it's blatant (like in this video). At the end of the day, it's almost impossible to differentiate between a very skilled player who has trained muscle memory to snap crosshairs to foreheads over years of playing shooters, or those who paid a Chinese hacking group to give him auto aim and is smart about using it.
@@crispy0103 Rachta has hacked before though. From the fact he has been vac banned on his stram account, to his really early videos of extremely blatant hacking. Rachta doesn"t always hack and when he doesnt he is just a regular player, not shooting people in the head through walls consistently.
The audio in hunt is not good enough to consistently wallbang. You can do it sometimes but you cant just slam people through walls with headshots constantly and to think it is possible is downright ignorant. Just cause you know somebody is behind a wall doesnt mean you know exactly where there head is to shoot them.
@@isaacsteele7986 Hard disagree with regards to the sound. Hunts audio is good enough to what where people are behind walls. I recently bought a new headset and the difference is huge. You can tell whether someone is crouched or stood up based on the sound of their foot steps and of you've played enough, you can also know the height that the head is at.
I have a friend who can dome people through walls based on the sounds of footsteps when he's pressed against the wall.
He isn't cheating, he's just played Counter Strike for the past 15+ years.
You're right that it's next to impossible to get it consistently, but that doesn't mean you can't get wall bangs often. It's just harder to do, not impossible. I watch multiple different Hunt streamers who do it a tonne.

@@crispy0103 His very first uploads are obvious, but if you click on my channel there is a really obvious example i uploaded of rachta locking onto a guy through a wall.
Me and my freinds have not had anywhere near that experience with hunt. Alot of times audio vertically just doesnt work and sound above or below you either sound on the same elevation or dont render. We also came up with a term "getting hunt sounded" or "binaural audio'd" because oftentimes you hear sounds in the wrong direction. The same sound will trigger, to one of us its west and the others its east or south but we both hear it. It happens constantly with everyone i have played the game with.

Watched the one video on your channel, the only potential explanation I can see is that you can briefly see what is either the silhouette of a hunters head/hat, or a hooded lantern when he flicks up. But admittedly, thats just my guess. In terms of his mouse movements, they all look like that - very smooth, almost snappy, but they're always like that including when he's in a menu, or just looking around an empty field, so it doesn;t seem like an aimbot.
In regards to your issues with the sound, do you ny chance have any surround sound software, or features built into your headsets? I have on mine, but if its switched on, it fucks the soundof Hunt very badly, makes it nearly impossible to determine direction or distance of sounds. Check for Spatial Sound in windows, and make sure you have things like "Dolby Atmos" or "Windows Sonic" switched off when playing Hunt, it will improve your sound experience by a tonne. I was accidentally playing with it switched on for over a year and a half, so I know it can be easy to miss.
This is so sad to see. I really love Hunt Showdown, it's my favorite online fps rn but all the bugs, glitches, atrocious servers and cheaters are ruining it. I'm at a point where I'm really considering quitting.

to be fair, it is possible to track ppl thru the floor/wall with just being able to hear them. and if you have an idea of where people are far away players can quickscope without cheats. I can see people thru the stack of wood in that compound, you only need to see a tiny bit of movement and hear them to know they are there. So sad. Hunt is a great game with interesting lore and gun play above so many games, but sadly Crytek cannot control this still. It really makes it frustrating because even if just 1 player on a team is doing this, you are at such a huge disadvantage.

What people will do is Create accounts and buy a few games, then cheat to get high ranks or impressive scores, then sell the accounts to Gamers chasing clout.
It's the progression of MMO account farming.

my friend cK HULK and i were grinding in RDO doing a pelt delivery when we were ambushed by a cheater that lite us up like 4th of July and we could not kill him we reported him but idk if it did much good, cheaters like this have no place in online games
