I rewatched this movie recently and was astounded at how similar the storyline is to the current world situation. The majority of humans are sleepwalkers, neither aware of how they're being manipulated nor their true innate power. The medical doctor is a traitor to mankind though he does attempt to redeem himself in the end. The conspiracy theory guy tries to warn everyone but they all think he's nuts. A human finally awakens.

@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.
when i was really little, I used to always watch the Spawn movie on VHS and this movie was one of the trailers it would show before the movie came on. And this trailer used to always creep me out for some reason back then lmao!
Yooo. I saw this movie mentioned on another channel and came here to say the same thing lmao. Still as creepy as I remember
Dang core memory unlocked , this trailer was on my VHS tape of the fifth element … I think … I just remember always watching it as a kid and getting scared lol
This is my favorite trailer of all time. Tells you nothing other than you want to see this. Great film
I loved Kiefer Sutherland acting in this movie... seeing him later as Jack Bauer can let you be mislead on the type of actor he is. His acting on this. movie was exceptional.
Things I learned from this trailer about the movie: Absolutely nothing
But do I wanna watch it? Hell yeah
@@yubia5216 Lmao just watched the trailer, didn't make any sense. Yet it made me want to watch it. xD
This is one of my favorite movies, and this trailer gives away nothing... which is a good thing! Amazing movie, don't go by the trailer, and watch it!
@@stephaniesmith4114 I think I heard about this film before. This director Alex Proyas has made some amazing movies and I wish he made more.
That’s the way it should be.
Glorious trailer for a glorious movie. One of my favourites.
Man this trailer ALONE brings back such memories. At the time I was too young to watch it and it was a bit scary. Watching tonight finally for the first time!
Damn! Took me forever to remember the name of this movie. I saw it as a kid, I was 9 years old when I saw this in the 90s and that little kid at 1:29 would freak me out. LOL
Can't wait to watch it again after all these years. As a kid I didn't understand it since English isn't my first language, but I still enjoyed it. :D
Lmfaooo same for me !!
Do yourself a service and make sure you Watch the director's cut when you do. Not the Theatrical version. Director's cut is so much better and makes so much more sense.
same I saw it in theaters I was 11 . movie was mad underrated better than the matrix in my opinion
Barnabás Németh haha I actually had to search it up like that too. "bald men, alien, scary kid bald kid movie" 😂😂 or something along those lines until I bumped into it on a top 10 list.
Stunewah Thank you! I guess it is due to the fact that I'd bust my arse in middle school and high school. lol I really wanted to learn the language. 😉
This movie means so much to me and makes me feel such a way I very much appreciate this film 🎥 ❤️
Oh man this brings back memories. I watched it as a kid, a tv channel played it dubbed. I was intrigued by this movie but then I completely forgot all about it until now.
I watched this movie when it came out. It was the first time I had seen Rufus Sewell. Have been a fan ever since. I read an interview of him in those days; he said he was the biggest moocher, where he would ask any or all of his friends to borrow money just to feed himself. Since that time he has done very well. No mooching for him anymore!
One of the best trailers ever!
Truman Show meets The Matrix. The greatest most underrated sci fi movie no one has ever heard of: DARK CITY. I can't discuss The Matrix with anyone anymore without bringing up this film, I hate that no one has seen it.
God I love old 90s trailers like this. the music is so good that it makes me wanna drive around my local city at night
We Watch this twice a year It is one of the best ever made.
Some of the best visuals I've ever seen.
Saw it four times in the theater. I remember the website was also sooo slow to load. But this in all seriousness is arguably the best movie I’ve ever seen.
Can still enjoy this movie even after all this time
I love the music in the trailer, gives me chills everytime
Masterpiece of the late 90's!!!
Yep
I have this on dvd, Jennifer Connelly was still cute back then.
I saw and loved the director's cut. I'm glad I never saw a trailer or the theatrical cut, since much of the joy of this movie is gradually figuring out what's going on.
Who else remembers this being a trailer on mortal kombat annihilation VHS tape
I playing Mortal Kombat Xl and Mortal Kombat 11 . May you too?
one of the best movies out there, its very deep.
Indeed. That's why this movie is so underrated, because the masses only enjoy superficial entertainment.
Deep meaning movies are not easily understood by the masses.
@@N73B60 True......They're so used to popcorn entertainment & being spoon fed.
Just how deep? About to watch
@@N73B60either that or sometimes they not fond of the actors . Keith Sutherland best role was the lost boys lol that’s about it … seeing who plays the role counts for films not doing good . Just like George Clooney , best was dusk till dawn. That’s it imho , the rest films suck
@@neilsingh5923depends who playing it . Keith only good role was the lost boys
One of the best science fiction movies of all time.
So good that I still want to watch it again and again
This trailer used to scare me when I was a kid. I always fast forwarded the VHS with my eyes closed. I forget what movie it was on.
Mortal Kombat?
I love this trailer. Awesome movie , great actors, William hurt is a top fav among them
what a documentary, well done guys!
I liked that they released this trailer music as part of the soundtrack album.
Masterpiece. One of my fav films.
My favorite movie trailer of all time.
I rewatched this movie recently and was astounded at how similar the storyline is to the current world situation.
You have a Klaus Schwab look-a-like as the main bad guy with WEF/WHO members filling out the rest of the souless walking corpses.
Oooh i had totaly forgot about this gem! Thanks for reminding me :)
I always loved this Trailer from my VHS tapes.
Excellent movie! Dark, mysterious and extremely creative - all the key ingredients for an entertaining rollercoaster ride of a film 😊♥️
This movie is a masterpiece, with a lit of deep meaning
I miss these trailers. No dialog and a bunch of scenes meant to enthrall your imagination.
For many years I have had this music after I found it on Kazza and used it to imagine a trailer for a Ravenloft movie featuring my adventurer friends and I pulled into Ravenloft.
The only trailer I saw in movies, said I had to see it, never did and regretted.
seen it at least 5 times... love it
First saw this trailer on a video my brother got out once and was intrigued, had to see it. Turned out to be everything I wanted and more. Have it on US blu ray now, both theatrical and director's cuts. The trailer for me is also a classic, just like the movie. So underrated. For me, it's a match for Blade Runner as one of the greatest sci-fi movies ever made.
Both create a great atmosphere
Me 26 years old watching this movie for the first time.. *MIND IS BLOWN*
One of my favorite movies of all time.
