I'm writing a post canon series for Rise, mainly centered around the Poly-amorous Bale. Leo, Donnie, Raph, Mikey, Casey, April. It starts here, when they are in their early twenties, and will continue well into their forties and their children's teens! I also write my own story of Casey's timeline, with branching endings and new villains. It's Multimedia, and a passion project.
It's okay if you dont ship Tcest, or you think what I make is shitty. Just. Maybe don't be an asshole about it and simply leave me alone? It's an option.

I see a lot of comments being supportive of the uhmmm...PAL, BUDDY, GOOD CHUM, YOU CAN BE REDEEMED FROM THIS, TRUST. but PLEASE, the reason a lot of the Rottmnt and tmnt fandom in general is so screwed is because of tcest (No hate, constructive criticism) Having the idea that ANY form of incest even non-blood situations is wrong. I, (and few others) can MILDLY TOLERATE if it's satire, but giving the impression to any audience that this is okay and serious is what ruins REAL people's lives. REAL PEOPLE will start having the mindset REAL LIFE incest is okay. You probably see it as simple media and not that big of a deal but please trust when I say this is wrong and needs to be stopped. On a brighter note to end this off, I don't think you're like this terrible person or anything, I also think the art is very well made! :) You can be the better person if you redirect your content. /respect
Okay. So, while I genuinely appreciate the effort to be respectful, sincerely! You are still be incredibly *disrespectful*, but! I want to see if I can explain this properly to you, there’s actually things to be learned here.
The relationship between fiction and reality is not equal, and this is something very important to learn for media literacy. We as a species can explore concepts in stories that we can’t or shouldn’t explore in real life. Let me give you some examples:
Glorified Violence, immortality, real atrocities as allegory for something else(cannibalism, serial killers, mental illness, genocide), *forbidden romance*
Take say, Hannibal, the show. People *love* that show and it’s romance, but it’s literally about a monstrous serial killer eating people! Something the *happens irl*. But the scene depicting this are all down right sensual and it’s a hit all over the world. Why? Because the author expects the viewers to be aware that this isn’t an endorsement of cannibalism. Because it’s a *story*.
In the Shape of Water do you think anyone thinks Del Toro is encouraging the ‘normalization’ of fucking fish?
Fiction is a complicated playground and creators expect to audience to understand the basic rules of engagement with it.
The people and communities that say that fiction should be censored and monitored for “degeneracy” are historically very *very* bad people, and I don’t think you understand where you’re logic will lead and where it *has* led in the past. “Degenerate” media gets burned, right along side its real marginalized people.
The Haze Code in America, the art deemed degenerate by the Nazi, even the puritanical Christians in the 80s and 90s calling DND “satanic”.
It *alway* leads to real demonstrable harm to censor art, where art itself doesn’t harm people.
Being uncomfortable with something in media is fine! But it’s up to you to curate your experience with art, not for the art to bend to your comfort zone. We as artists tag things appropriately so that you the viewer can block and filter things that trigger you.
I *will never* compromise my art and stories for conservatives or reactionary thoughts.
@@CherryTreatsArt I'm sorry that I came off in a disrespectful way, where in some lights I do agree, art should stay art, exposure in media that it could be portrayed as normal can be damaging to the viewer depending on who they are. As much as you may feel like it's not your problem to deal with, you and other artists who normalize it in your media will impact negatively on your viewers lives. I'm not trying to say you need to hide your creative abilities, and really, I'm not trying to be disrespect you or your art, I think it's good. This isn't a matter of "my opinion." It's a matter of morality.
When I say you can be better by not making it, I don't even mean deleting all your stuff, I mean, in the future redeeming all of the incorrect morals that have been passed onto people. If anything else, give a disclaimer on your channel and videos that REAL LIFE incest is not okay.
I'm not trying to hate or have others give you hate. I'm simply trying to help the communities and people around me. As a fellow ROTTMNT enjoyer, I felt obligated to step in.
I don't know if at any point in time I've said downright hurtful things, but if I did please no it wasn't by intention.
