    I tried this with my girls. We had shaving cream EVERYWHERE! They had more fun squirting it at each other rather than in the container. The hats still turned out though. Thanks Steph

Also gonna up cycle this short with glow in the dark skulls but has to be reverse dye, I have 2 of same shirt. Thinking of a bunch of projects while I have been down. Also I miss Greg. I think of him every time use his salve. Hope he comes back feeling like a million bucks. That's all I want to see is him get better.

    I love the colors you chose. I guess the shaving cream really dilutes them because they aren’t as bright green after the wash out. I still would wear it.

    Hi, for how long I keep the hat on the foam? And when can I wash it off? Because I can see the hat was already without foam. Thanks

    • @BelladonnaDyesCo
      @BelladonnaDyesCo  Před 3 měsíci

      I left it in the shaving cream for the entire time until I rinsed it. Yes, the “foam” kinda melts down. So at least 24 hours. Procion dye needs to bond with the fabric at 70° for 24 hours for maximum vibrancy. ❤️🌈

    my old site hats are worn out, I should try this sometime, get the site's badge stitched in and go. but my site's slate blue and grey - not sure if they do grey dyes.

    Where on earth did you get an idea to do that???!!! I was intrigued while you emptied the shaving cream can, got a sudden urge for my infamous Banana Cream Pie when you started spreading the shaving cream as that's exactly how I spread the whip cream on the pie!!!! 🤣 When you swirled the paint, I thought I was watching one of my acrylic fluid painting videos, as you used a painting technique!!! Not exactly crazy about the way it turned out, a little too pastelly for me, but what a great technique! Great thinking out of the box!

    Fun!!! I do have a question. Being a former hairdresser, what are the possibilities of this dye transferring to blonde or white haired ladies; especially if their hair has been colored or is porous and perhaps perspire while wearing this cap? I have a pale blonde (color treated) friend and I’d love to make her one. Thanks, in advance for your response. 😁

    • @BelladonnaDyesCo
      @BelladonnaDyesCo  Před rokem

      The dye is permanent once it’s been laundered properly, which I do. It’s ust like any color cap you’d buy at a store. ❤️🌈

    • @BelladonnaDyesCo
      @BelladonnaDyesCo  Před 2 lety

      I didn’t see it to be necessary. The shaving cream is creamy enough without water. Either way works. ❤️🌈

      "Shaving Cream" is a song written by Benny Bell in 1946, and originally sung by Paul Wynn. I first heard it on the Dr. Demento radio show.
