Yes yes! It is unfortunate that us here in the US (not sure where you are from) have not had the honor to see them live. I'm sure they are trying to get what they need as far as visas and all that tour mess for the future, but I hope it comes soon! And hell yes this band is amazing. Lena is absolutely incredible.

@@VengefulMaverick I've been listening to metal since I was 8 or so. I'm nearly 31. Most metal doesn't dig deep and cover such a huge issue in such a lyrically genius way. These lyrics are at least in the top 5% of best lyrics in metal. In my opinion at least. But I used to fall asleep to Korn, Staind, Mushroomhead, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park etc. as a kid. The lyrics of some of these groups are deep and chosen really well. But idk they deal with more internal issues. This song focuses on an external issue which is different for me. The structure of society and how fucked it is.
That being said, while this song does focus on such a deep subject that affects everyone, it can't be denied that this system will never change. At least for the time being until humans evolve beyond our current species of homosapiens by merging with machines and utilizing neurological and genetic enhancements. It's just a truth of life and it sucks. Nothing we can do about it.

2.) People need to grow some balls and start bringing out the guillotines, and exposing the shit of the world.
From Poland we took a stand on many issues lately. Hong Kong is doing what the whole world needs to be doing.
All it takes is one band or one song...Once you get a taste of the deep lyricism, a whole new world opens up to you and it's hard to go back.
@@oo-wr4pq I'm 27 and there are plenty of metal bands that touch on deep topics both internal and external. I do agree though much of metal is focused on internal issues like Depression, anxiety, suicide, addictions, relationships, loneliness, despair, sadness, and so on. This song in particular makes me think of Hour of Penance's song "Flames of Merciless Gods". Those in position in power that when their authority becomes obsolete, would rather take their own lives than own up to their own mistakes.

This is just pure awesomeness. The melody, the riffs, the drumming, her voice...I feel like these guys do a female-fronted band the right way...so many female-fronted bands just are sorta boring and not creative enough. 1:30-1:38 and 3:49-3:57 just bang so hard.

Not knocking what those others do...but in a male dominated industry, they are truly against the fence, so they need to come out swinging to make a statement. That's why female led bands have gained more and more popularity across the past 20 years I believe.

Favorite song of them for me so far from what I have listened to. The instrumentals really matured in this one, and they harmonize so well with the vocals too, like the mentioned bit at 0:37 where she floats down is just brilliant - the overall composition seems to be much more mature too. Definitely want to see / hear more stuff like this by them.

they've had a lot of really good videos for a while, even when they were indie, I'd suggest Earth Mantra, Passerby, Orphan Soul, and Mold If you are into Jinjer too, there is a video with Lena and Tati performing together that is a lot of fun even though Tati's mic wasn't working - just search "Infected Rain and Tatiana."
I've NEVER in my life pre-ordered an album before. I pre-ordered this album on Bandcamp and the like 4 songs you get instantly with it are all like this, Especially the last track is just fucking awesome.

@@Atypical_Stereotype A lot of people would assume that a black and gold palette would be easy to shoot. Its definitely not. Especially with it being so dark. The lighting wouldn't have been easy. Definitely not the work of just some dude with a DSLR and Home Depot lights.

Exactly. Inspired and professional job here. I also love how the light is constantly murky, filtered, as if it's fighting to shine through or maybe even dimming. Really compliments the message of the song ("How do we find clarity...")
The scenes in the "trash compactor" are especially beautiful (eg. 3:15), as is 1:01. I rarely post comments, but this work of art had me all dumbfounded.

He is the go to guy in the region for music videos. It's amazing when you want to watch a video over and over for the video itself as well as the song. Lighting on something like this is everything.
