In my opinion irreversible or permanent type of hearing loss should be considered while calculating disability percentage. You should consult with an ENT specialist at Government District hospital near you for more details.

Moderately severe means hearing loss between 56 dB to 70 dB. Moderate hearing loss means between 41 dB to 55 dB range. For getting disability certificate hearing loss should be above 60 dB in both ears. So, people with moderate degree of hearing loss are not eligible for disability certificate.

Moderate hearing loss means between 41 dB to 55 dB range.
For getting disability certificate hearing loss should be above 60 dB in both ears. So, people with moderate degree of hearing loss are not eligible for disability certificate.
